Runway Rundown: Valentino’s Spring 2015 Couture Collection from Paris!

Valentino Spring 2015 Couture Collection.

When it comes to romance, Valentino‘s Spring 2015 Couture collection embodied the theme with inspiration from literature & art, including excerpts from Shakespeare & Dante, as well as paintings by Chagall. The evidence is clear in corseted dresses, tapestry materials, the flow & whimsy of chiffon, saturated neutrals, floral appliques, & caftan shapes. Clearly the Valentino woman is searching for love, adventure, truth, & beauty. The collection comes just in time for this weekend’s Grammy Awards, as well as the Oscars at the end of the month, with plenty of red carpet inspiration for loyal celebrities of the brand to pursue, including Keira Knightley, Amanda Seyfried, Jennifer Lopez, Emma Stone, Nicole Kidman, & Zoe Saldana.

Which look is your favorite from the collection? Who do you think would look gorgeous in any of these dresses? Do you like Valentino’s vision for romance on the runway? Basics for a Bargain: Pretty & Patterned Separates To Amp Up Your Solids (Dedicated to Lisa)!

When it comes to new style resolutions for 2015, an easy way to spruce up a boring wardrobe or upgrade to a more mature style is to step outside of your comfort zone & that starts with prints. An attention to detail immediately shows off your personality & gives off a very positive first impression. I’ve learned (from shows like What Not to Wear) that when you put a thoughtful effort into what you’re wearing, you’ll have more confidence & the people around you will notice. I’d like to dedicate this post to my favorite cousin, Lisa, who has turned to me with advice & questions on how to dress more appropriate to her age, while shopping on a budget & discovering who she is through her own personal style.

When it comes to prints, there are a lot of opportunities to discover your personal style, which is why I turned to recent Spring 2015 Ready-To-Wear runway collections for a little inspiration of what’s trending this coming spring.

Altuzarra, Dries Van Noten, Louis Vuitton, & Valentino Spring 2015 Ready-To-Wear.

Of course, not all of these outfits are meant to be taken literally as inspiration, but it’s apparent that the range of prints, from classic to crazy, will instantly amp up any look, including those from Altuzarra, Dries Van Noten, Louis Vuitton, & Valentino.

Also, when it comes to prints, mixing separates with basics is the perfect way to build a variety of outfits for day, work, night, & weekend looks, as seen with these tops & sweaters on actress Jessica Alba, model Miranda Kerr, Glee star Lea Michele, fashion darling Alexa Chung, singer Gwen Stefani, & it-girl Kendall Jenner.

Jessica Alba, Miranda Kerr, & Lea Michele in printed tops.

Alexa Chung, Gwen Stefani, & Kendall Jenner in printed sweaters.

Also, A-listers know how to play with prints when it comes to bottoms, which is why I sought out chic printed shorts, skirts, & pants. Examples include The Americans star Keri Russell, Victoria’s Secret supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio, Oscar nominee Reese Witherspoon, TV personality Kelly Ripa, style icon Olivia Palermo, & actress / fashion blogger Jamie Chung.

Keri Russell & Alessandra Ambrosio in printed shorts.

Reese Witherspoon & Kelly Ripa in printed skirts.

Olivia Palermo & Jamie Chung in printed pants. And so… with a budget shopper in mind, I’ve searched high & low to find great deals on stylish printed separates. First, these printed tops are great building blocks to a more sophisticated look, when layered with staples like a military or moto jacket, flyaway cardigan or cropped bolero, or with leather leggings, tuxedo pants, dark denim jeans, or bootcut trousers.

Printed tops.

SHOP: printed tank ($22.50) @Neiman Marcus, lace tee ($14.97) @Old Navy, print top ($22.80) @Nordstrom, & black top ($22.90) @Forever 21.

Also, printed blouses are must-haves when you’d like to sport a clean, professional look. Not only do smaller patterns work on flowy toppers, but they’re great for when you really want to go all out with your prints & mix them with other bolder prints, like animal spots, polka dots, colorblocked stripes, & many more.

Printed blouses.

SHOP: heart blouse ($24.99) @Kohl’s & shirt ($29.94) @Old Navy.

In these colder months, printed sweaters are a fun way to play with patterns, while also staying warm. Also, sweaters in different textures will surely show off a variety of colors to play with when it comes to accessories too!

Printed sweaters.

SHOP: lace sweater ($27.80) @Forever 21 & animal sweater ($32.99) @LOFT.

When headed to the office in a dress or skirt outfit, try on a printed cardigan to wear open or closed over basics like a button down shirt, scoop neck tee, tie-neck blouse, or ruffled camisole.

Printed cardigans.

SHOP: houndstooth cardigan ($22.99) @Target & snake cardigan ($11.93) @LOFT.

When it comes to bottoms, we’re often so quick to pick out a pair of jeans or leggings, but wearing prints on your lower half is unexpected & certainly a way to get the most out of your solid tops, like a black turtleneck, three-quarter sleeve sweater, or pocket tee. However, printed skirts are fun since you can not only layer with neutrals, but also enhance your look with a pop of color.

Printed skirts.

SHOP: plaid pencil skirt ($24.99) @Target & zebra skirt ($29.95) @H&M.

Maxi skirts are everywhere & great when headed on vacation, to a day  by the water, or lunch with the girls, which is why playing with printed maxi skirts has so many possibilities, especially with metallic gladiator sandals, riding boots with button details, & textured wedges.

Printed maxi skirts.SHOP: snake maxi skirt ($30.00) in blue @Dress Barn & print maxi skirt ($30.00) in coral @Dress Barn.

For those who dare to wear shorts, think outside of the box with printed shorts in delicate fabrics. not only can these be perfect for day, but they’re easy to dress up with decadent pieces in lace, leather, & brocade.

Printed shorts.

SHOP: chevron shorts ($23.30) @Saks Off Fifth & shorts ($24.99) @Kohl’s.

Printed pants aren’t new, but not everyone gives them a chance, especially when concerned about emphasizing your assets in an unflattering way. However, loose-fitting pants in subtle prints are perfect for neutral tops & jackets when on the go. These are also great for pairing with ballet flats or pointy toe stilettos.

Printed pants.SHOP: pants ($12.00) @H&M & stripe pants ($19.99) @JC Penney.

Lastly, I’m certainly not saying that anyone should abandon jeans in any way, but perhaps instead of wearing regular washes, try a printed jean, which will not only perk up a casual look, but will surprise those around you, especially when paired with a blouson top, graphic tee, or tunic sweater.

Printed jeans.

SHOP: camo jeans ($26.55) @Lord & Taylor & floral jeans ($24.99) @6PM.

Must-have prints to have in your wardrobe, yet worn with caution, include polka dots, animal prints, graphics, modern florals, lace, stripes & chevron, tribal, plaid, & houndstooth. I even made a quick guide to learning prints, which will perhaps also serve as a chart on how to successfully mix prints too.

The guide to prints & patterns

Which prints are you naturally drawn to wear? How do you like to wear prints? Do you mix prints with solids regularly? Red Carpet Review: The 2015 #GoldenGlobes Awards, Featuring Jennifer Lopez, Emma Stone, Amy Adams, & More!

Anna Kendrick, Emma Stone, Naomi Watts, Lupita Nyong'o, Jennifer Lopez, Dakota Johnston, Kate Mara, Diane Kruger, & Kate Hudson.

The 2015 Golden Globes is upon us & already the show is an extravaganza in entertainment & movie madness. However, it’s the red carpet that has the fashion world buzzing, including some major trends in pops of color like red, cobalt, & yellow, as well as luxe metallics, plenty of cleavage from A-listers, pretty pastels, & dramatic ballgowns. Some of my favorite celebrities that hit the red carpet are Anna Kendrick (in Monique Lhuillier), Emma Stone (in Lanvin), Naomi Watts (in Gucci), Lupita Nyong’o (in Giambattista Valli), Jennifer Lopez (in Zuhair Murad), Dakota Johnston (in Chanel), Kate Mara (in Miu Miu), Diane Kruger (in Emilia Wickstead), & Kate Hudson (in Versace).

Other noteables are the always glamorous Reese Witherspoon (in Calvin Klein Collection), Jessica Chastain (in Atelier Versace), Kate Beckinsale (in Elie Saab), Allison Williams (in Armani Prive), Zosia Mamet (in Andrew Gn), Gina Rodriguez (in Badgley Mischka), & Amy Adams (in Versace). Who was your favorite on the red carpet? Which looks are you talking about the most?

Red Carpet Review: The Top 10 Style Darlings To Watch For 2015!

2014 was full of fantastic fashion moment from regular A-listers who made headlines by risking skin, donning matching separates, & keeping it classic with timeless elegance. However, it’s time to talk about the Style Darlings to watch out for in 2015, those who are sure to keep the fashion headlines buzzings, setting trends, & making a stylish name for themselves.

Nicola Peltz, Felicity Jones, Bella Thorne, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Emily Ratajkowski, Kiernan Shipka, Brie Larson, Suki Waterhouse, Ariel Winter, & Kendall Jenner. This includes, Transformers: Age of Extinction actress Nicola Peltz (in Prada), Golden Globe nominee for The Theory of Everything Felicity Jones (in Dior), teen star Bella Thorne (in LOFT), Beyond the Lights actress Gugu Mbatha-Raw (in Lanvin), “Blurred Lines” model-turned-Gone-Girl-actress Emily Ratajkowski (in Diane von Furstenberg), Mad Men ingénue Kiernan Shipka (at the Zac Posen Spring-Summer 2015 show), familiar face & Mark Wahlberg’s co-star in The Gambler Brie Larson (in Alexander McQueen), model & girlfriend of Bradley Cooper: Suki Waterhouse (in Burberry Prorsum), Modern Family actress Ariel Winter (in Mikael D.), & reality star-turned-catwalk pro Kendall Jenner (in Balmain).

So let’s start….

Nicola Peltz in Balenciaga, Dolces & Gabbana & Stella McCartney, Dior, & Miu Miu.Nicola Peltz made waves on the red carpet while promoting the fourth installment of the Transformers series, but she’s an actress on the rise with roles in TV’s Bates Motel & the film, The Last Airbender, under her belt. When it comes to style, she experiments with classic, Old Hollywood looks, as well as youthful frocks that recall a vintage appreciation. The beautiful blonde can really wear anything, which is why designers like Balenciaga, Dolce & Gabbana, Stella McCartney, Dior, & Miu Miu will be banging on her door since she wears clothes so well.

Felicity Jones in Burberry Prorsum, Moschino, Chloe, & Dolce & Gabbana.Felicity Jones is no stranger to the red carpet, but she’s made a name for herself in this year’s The Theory of Everything, opposite fellow trophy contender Eddie Redmayne. The British actress recalls a mix of girl-next-door meets bombshell, keeping her classic style nothing short of sophisticated & effortless. She’s kind of like the English version of USA’s Zooey Deschanel, with dramatic, dark hair & porcelain skin that radiates against everything she wears, like the above looks by Burberry Prorsum, Moschino, Chloé, & Dolce & Gabbana.

Bella Thorne in Alberta Ferretti, Zac Posen, Gucci, & Zara.Disney star Bella Thorne has emerged as a teen-to-watch & young-woman-on-the-verge when it comes to style. The former Shake It Up! actress experiments with feminine gowns, layers of chiffon, as well as chic jumpsuits & mini skirts galore! Her big screen résumé includes the Drew Barrymore-Adam Sandler family comedy Blended & Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day with Steve Carrell & Jennifer Garner. Bella is true to her name, gorgeous in anything she wears, including top designers & brands like Alberta Ferretti, Zac Posen, Gucci, & separates from Zara.

Gugu Mbatha-Raw in Delpozo, Calvin Klein Collection, Jenny Packham, & Michael Kors.Gugu Mbatha-Raw earned her place in the spotlight with 2014’s Beyond the Lights as a reckless singer & daughter to Minnie Driver. The British import is a classic beauty who wears top designers like a pro. She can mix up lace details, bold prints, minimalist cuts, & bright colors. She’s a must-see for the upcoming awards season, especially having succeeded in Delpozo, Calvin Klein Collection, Jenny Packham, & Michael Kors. Up next for the actress is Jupiter Ascending with Mila Kunis & Channing Tatum, & the drama The Whole Truth with Keanu Reeves & Renee Zellweger.

Emily Ratajkowski in Amanda Wakely, David Koma, Safiyaa, & ZAC Zac Posen.Emily Ratajkowski is a familiar face for showing her best assets in Robin Thicke’s hit “Blurred Lines” music video, but 2014 was her year for her role in Gone Girl. the model-turned-actress has a curvaceous figure that looks fantastic in virtually anything. Some of her most memorable red carpet appearances include looks featuring Amanda Wakely, David Koma, Safiyaa, & ZAC Zac Posen. 2015 means not only hitting the awards season circuit, but also promoting her new films, such as We Are Your Friends with Zac Efron, & the highly anticipated big screen premiere of the Entourage movie. Kiernan Shipka in Valentino, Marni, Tanya Taylor, & Tory Burch.Mad Men‘s Kiernan Shipka is possibly my favorite new addition to the red carpet circuit for keeping her style age appropriate, but also enviable for being elegant & playful at the same time. Not only is there tons of hype surrounding the finale of the AMC drama, but Kiernan also drew well-deserved attention for her controversial role in Lifetime’s Flowers in the Attic alongside Heather Graham & Ellen Burstyn. The young actress is perfect red carpet fixture in Valentino, Marni, Tanya Taylor, & Tory Burch. I can’t want to see what else she will wear as she grows into one of the most stylish young women in Hollywood.

Brie Larson in Rodarte, DVF, Prada, & Prada.Brie Larson can currently be seen in The Gambler as Mark Wahlberg’s love interest, but the real drama occurs when the actress hits the red carpet. She can pull off anything from gothic-inspired, chic Old Hollywood, girl next door, & take fashion risks with bold prints & patterns. She’s perfection in Rodarte, Diane von Furstenberg, & Prada. Brie will be making more red carpet rounds when promoting her upcoming films Digging for Fire with Anna Kendrick & Trainwreck also starring Daniel Radcliffe.

Suki Waterhouse in Christian Dior, Burberry Prorsum, Emilia Wickstead, & Peter Pilotto.Suki Waterhouse might not be a household name, but the British model & actress will likely be seen on the arm of awards show darling & her boyfriend, Bradley Cooper. As a model, it’s no surprise that she can wear dresses so well, but it’s the variety that’s caught my attention. She’s ethereal in pastels, plays with volume, takes risks with sheer fabrics, & mixes up patterns & classic silhouettes, as seen in designs by Christian Dior, Burberry Prorsum, Emilia Wickstead, & Peter Pilotto. She’s got a big year coming up with a major role in the next installment in the Divergent series, Insurgent, as well as Pride & Prejudice & Zombies.

Ariel Winter in Badgley Mischka, Black Halo Eve, Kate Spade New York, & NBD.Modern Family‘s Ariel Winter has been the subject of a lot of talk because of her super mature & sexy style- she’s only 16 (turning 17 this month). However, she’s been quoted as saying that she curvy figure & womanly shape calls for more grown up fashions as she’s growing up in the spotlight. Whatever she’s doing, it’s working, especially in looks by Badgley Mischka, Black Halo Eve, Kate Spade New York, & NBD. Since the hit ABC show is up for a ton of awards this season, Ariel will no doubt blow fashion critics away with her continued poise & mature fashion choices.

Kendall Jenner in Topshop, Fausto Puglisi, Chanel, & Sass & Bide.Lastly, it’s hard to talk about 2014’s best trendsetter & fashionistas without mentioning at least one member of the Kardashian crew. That’s new supermodel Kendall Jenner, who appeared on the runways during fashion week for brands like Diane von Furstenberg, Givenchy, Sonia Rykiel, Fendi, & Bottega Veneta. When it came time to hit the red carpet, she looks flawless & pushed the envelope in designs by Topshop, Fausto Puglisi, Chanel, & Sass & Bide.

Whose style caught your eye in 2014? Which of these picks is your favorite on the red carpet? Who are you looking forward to seeing more of during the year? Splurge Or Save… On A Lace Sweatshirt?

Even though I’m stuck in the thick of winter, along with the rest of the east coast, I’m still looking ahead to spring for some style inspiration. One of the favorite trends that started coming up during the winter & is making its way into stylish spring wardrobes in the lace sweatshirt. The feminine combination of elegance & casual makes for a fabulous way to reinterpret what it means to be chic. This is an essential separate for a casual Friday at the office, which can also be turned into a night our piece with leather leggings & ankle boots or skinny jeans & stilettos.

Keeping a budget in mind for any Style Darling shopping the sale rack, I wanted to direct your attention to a pair of lace sweatshirts, in different price ranges.

lace sweatshirtsThe lace sweatshirt ($110.00) to the left is from White House Black Market, & while it will make an investment in quality craftsmanship, it’s not exactly budget-friendly. However, on the right, the floral lace front tee ($44.50) @LOFT, which is a lightweight option, but still shares the same idea. To maintain the classy look of this shirt, mix these up with various accessories, like a string of pearls, stud earrings, & a headband, especially with modern bottoms like distressed jeans & ballet flats, menswear-inspired trousers & studded boots, or cigarette pants & ankle strap platforms.

What trends are you looking forward to this spring? What looks caught your eye during New York Fashion Week? Which pieces are your favorites to mix & match? For more fancy sweatshirts, check out designer duds like these from Tory Burch @Nordstrom & Valentino @Net-A-Porter! Other more affordable shopping options include sweatshirts from Delia’s, Macy’s, Bluefly, & Kohl’s. Happy Styling!

Cover Craze: A Behind-The-Scenes Look At Jennifer Lawrence For In Style!

Jennifer Lawrence for In Style December 2013

Oscar-winner Jennifer Lawrence can’t go a day without being photographed, and it makes sense, especially after catching this behind-the-scenes look during her recent photo shoot for In Style‘s December 2013 cover. Of course, we get to see the tall, leggy blonde with her longer, fuller hair, while still loving all the recent shots for her press tour of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

Red Carpet Review: Lily Collins’ Stylish Press Tour For ‘The Mortal Instruments’!

Lily Collins is the it-girl of the summer, while promoting her latest film Mortal Instruments: City of Bones. She’s been hitting the red carpet, making talk show appearances, & showing off her youthful & daring style, establishing herself as one of the most in-demand Style Darlings of the summer! She’s on trend with cut-outs, high-low hemlines, ankle-strap pumps, & bold red lips, all while donning duds by designers like Cushnie et Ochs, Valentino, Roland Mouret, Paper London, & Versace! While she’s known for her thick eyebrows, I’m starting to see more & more classic style from the young actress, with influences like Grace Kelly, Elizabeth Taylor, & Audrey Hepburn!

Top 10 Celeb Sightings: Lots Of White, B/W Looks, & Booties, Featuring Vanessa Hudgens, Gwen Stefani, & More!

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

I’m all packed & ready to hit the road tomorrow for a highly anticipated break from reality while attending a very intense, yet chic Writer’s Conference out in Southampton for the next eleven days… which means that posts may be sparse for the rest of the month. However, I wanted to leave readers with plenty of inspiration, including some of my favorite celebrity looks who are toting head-to-toe white, black & white ensembles, & fall-ready designer booties that I can’t wait to put on my own feet! My top picks include Salma Hayek Pinault in a printed Christopher Kane dress with seriously stylish Giuseppe Zanotti booties. Also, there’s much to talk about with the usually belly-baring Rihanna who couldn’t look cooler or more casual, as well as supermodel Karolina Kurkova in elegant menswear-inspired separates & Kristen Wiig in a Viktor & Rolf shift dress at an NYC screening for her new film, Girl Most Likely.

My gallery also includes Gwen Stefani working the printed pant trend, young actress Holland Roden in a pretty Naeem Khan frock, Kelly Rowland testing gravity in a flouncy dress & towering booties, tennis star Maria Sharapova in a Valentino shift dress, socialite Olivia Palermo continuing her stylish streak, & Vanessa Hudgens in a cropped sweater by Catherine Malandrino.

Runway Rundown: Valentino’s Fall 2013 Haute Couture Collection!

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

There’s lots to talk about when it comes to Fall 2013 Haute Couture Collections in Paris this week, especially Valentino‘s latest line. I love the mixture of tailored menswear, sweeping gowns, lace panels, intricate cut-outs, layered transparent looks, & brocade embellishments. I never thought I’d type those descriptions for one collection, but I was blown away by the understated elegance in this very forward-thinking line. The gowns towards the finale were especially spectacular for this fall’s awards season.

Luxury Look-Alike For Less: Studded Sandals From Neiman Marcus Vs. Forever 21!

When I’m lacking inspiration for a blog, you can either find me perusing the internet for absurdly adorable pictures of puppies, or checking out some seriously sexy shoes that I don’t think I’ll ever be able to afford. However, I was so inspired by Nicole Kidman’s new ad campaign for Jimmy Choo & began thinking about simple ways to update my spring-summer-fall shoe collection without breaking the bank. Also, I love the idea of studded sandals, especially since I’ve been seeing the trend all over the pages of my favorite fashion magazines this summer.  This includes the Saint Laurent strappy studded leather sandal ($867.00) in black, Prada studded metallic ankle-strap sandal ($636.00) in silver, Valentino allover rockstud sandal ($995.00) in poudre, & Schutz Akshya spiked sandal ($240.00) in black / gold, all from Neiman Marcus.

Neiman Marcus

Each style offers plenty of toe cleavage, as well as height to show off your legs in shorts romper, mini skirt, or sheath dress, especially when paired with softer details like lace, a floral print, or ruched bodice.

If you’re looking to achieve the same gladiator style with metallic studding, then I recommend heading over to Forever 21 for their leather-lined spike gladiator heels ($32.50) in both black & natural to fulfill all of your gritty & modern fashion needs. These are perfect for mixing up your office look for happy hour with the girls, heading out for a date in and LBD, or making a statement with the ever so trendy jumpsuit.

Cover Craze: Kate Mara’s Playful Dramatic Photo Shoot For ELLE!

When flipping through the pages of next month’s ELLE magazine, I was pleased to see Shakira returning to the spotlight as the magazine’s cover girl. However, in the pages of the fashion mag, I was most intrigued by he 12-page photo shoot & accompanying article on House of Cards actress Kate Mara, whose stylish red carpet appearances & career on both the big & small screen has always seemed to catch my eye.

Kate Mara for Elle July 2013 01

Of course, I’ve learned that the actress, who formerly co-starred in the first season of American Horror Story as Dylan McDermott’s psycho dead mistress, comes from NFL royalty, & was the first of the Mara sisters to hit up Hollywood with acting dreams. However, Kate proudly talks about little sister Rooney who snagged her first Oscar nomination for her gritty portrayal in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Also, Kate discusses her role as Zoe Barnes & working with acclaimed director David Fincher on the Netflix series, House of Cards, alongside Kevin Spacey & Robin Wright.

Kate Mara for Elle July 2013 02

The shoot features plenty of enviable high fashion looks from designers like Valentino, Chanel, Rag & Bone, Dior, Ralph Lauren Collection, Donna Karan New York, Prada, Michael Kors, Giorgio Armani, J Brand, Calvin Klein Collection, Versace, & Louis Vuitton. What makes this an especially interesting fashion shoot is the combination of luxe labels with novelties like stuffed animals, adorable puppies, & showcasing the difference stellar accessories make for an ensemble.

Basics For A Bargain: It’s Finally Spring & Finally Time For Florals!

There’s still a chill in the air here in New York, but it’s finally starting to look like spring. There’s change in the air & I know I’m really excited about it- & not just for my change in wardrobe. However, speaking of spring fashions, the go-to print of the season is florals & I couldn’t turn my back the trend, especially when I’ve been seeing it everywhere! For example, A-list celebs have been wearing florals even during the winter, ushering in the warmer season. Miranda Kerr is all smiles in a floral skirt with a leather Prada tote while taking in the day in Sydney. Elizabeth Olsen mixed her floral top with a mustard coat & skinny jeans. Actress Diane Kruger attended a press event for Farewell, My Queen in a 10 Crosby Derek Lam ensemble.

Miranda Kerr, Elizabeth Olsen, Diane Kruger, Selena Gomez, Jessica Chastain, & Dianna Agron.

Superstar Selena Gomez hit the SXSW Festival in a matching bustier & skirt by Dolce & Gabbana. Two-time Oscar nominee Jessica Chastain wears an Erdem sheath dress with nude Christian Louboutins. Lastly, former Glee star Dianna Agron attended a luncheon with The Hollywood Reporter in an Oday Shakar floral dress with suede Jimmy Choo heels.

Not to mention that there have been plenty of florals hitting the runways this year, including luxe vintage from Valentino, 80s-inspired rocker chic designs from Betsey Johnson, youthful & bright patterns from Tracy Reese, Lanvin‘s elegant & sophistication, & Erdem‘s playful & refreshing angle on flowers.

Valentino, Betsey Johnson, Tracy Reese, Lanvin, & Erdem.

Whether it’s on clothing, accessories, or mixed & match (which I only recommend doing with caution), I made a few selections from some of my favorite stores to share how you can wear the latest floral pieces on a budget! The best piece to start building the perfect spring wardrobe is a dress, like the Merona sleeveless tulip wrap dress ($19.00) from Target, which has recently been marked down from its original $24.99 price. The flattering wrap shape is perfect for accentuating your shape & the navy background adds a regal touch is paired with basketweave espadrilles or bright ballet flats. Next is the LC Lauren Conrad floral ruffle tank ($25.20) from Kohl’s, which is a feminine topper piece to wear with dark denim jeans, white skinny pants, or a denim skirt.

Don’t be afraid of florals on your bottom half, especially with the 4 1/2″ belted printed flat front shorts ($32.94) from Express, which add some tropical flair to your look & will dress down a lace blouse. I love the idea of sequins with florals & this skirt ($34.95) from H&M is a stylish marriage of both. This will pair nicely with a chambray button down shirt for a fashionable day out & about or with a solid pullover & pointy toe pumps for a date. Lastly, floral pants are also one of the biggest trends this season, especially in a looser cut to provide plenty of flow & movement, which is why I choose the Full Tilt skinny harem pants ($24.99) from Tilly’s. The chic black, gray, & white color combination is understated & can be coordinated with pastel pieces like coral or mint.

As for accessories, these bright colors will make your outfit pop, especially since they’re so effortless to match with wardrobe essentials. For example, the sequin tulip print pumps ($27.80) from Forever 21 are flirty & will add extra dimension to cuffed jeans & a ruffled top. Also, for a more subtle floral shoe, the novelty ballet flats ($39.95) from Gap. The soft pink & red tones in the shoe can offset any striped tee & jeans look in a ladylike way.

Part of what I love about spring is that I can still wear scarves, which can bring a lot to a look, like the ground floral scarf ($14.99) from Payless for a denim jacket & LBD with ankle strap platforms or a maxi dress & cargo vest with gladiator flats. Lastly, I’m not really a hat kind of girl, but in some cases, you need to protect your face from the harsh rays of the sun, especially this early in the season, which is why I picked the pop floral baseball cap ($8.99) from Charlotte Russe.

Other notable hits include Jessica Chastain (in Giorgio Armani), Nicole Kidman (in L’Wren Scott), Jennifer Garner (in Gucci), Kerry Washington (in Miu Miu), & Charlize Theron (in Dior Haute Couture). This slideshow requires JavaScript.

In this latest Red Carpet Review post, we’re one step closer to rounding out this year’s awards season with the red carpet looks from tonight’s 2013 Screen Actors Guild Awards. The ceremony is currently airing & there’s so much movie news to report, however some of the hottest & most-talked-about celebrities have made a splash in couture, following the runway trends, including black gowns (like what we saw at the Golden Globes) on Anne Hathaway (in Giambattista Valli Haute Couture), Elisabeth Moss (in Dolce & Gabbana), Naya Rivera (in Donna Karan), Michelle Dockery (in Chado Ralph Rucci), Tina Fey (in Oscar de la Renta), Jaimie Alexander (in Marc Bouwer) & Kelly Osbourne (in Jenny Packham).

Also, side parts for hair are big, as seen on Jessica Chastain (in Alexander McQueen), Katrina Bowden (in Badgley Mischka), & Naomi Watts (in Marchesa). Colors of the night that popped were pretty pinks & purples on Lea Michele (in Valentino), Nina Dobrev (in Elie Saab), Freida Pinto (in Roland Mouret), & Sally Field (in J. Mendel).

There was a classic & regal combination of blue & navy hues hit the red carpet with Amanda Seyfried (in Zac Posen), Jordin Sparks, Nicole Kidman (in Vivienne Westwood), Jennifer Lawrence (in Christian Dior Haute Couture), Giuliana Rancic (in Max Azria Atelier), & Edie Flaco (in Chagoury).

Lastly, colorblocking & mixed tones in black & white were a hit, featured on Claire Danes (in Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci), January Jones (in Prabal Gurung), Julianna Margulies, & Julianne Moore (in Chanel Haute Couture).

Red Carpet Review / Runway Rundown: Style Darling’s Top 20 Best Oscar-Worthy Gown Predictions!

We’re less than a month away from the 2013 Academy Awards & the SAG Awards are this weekend! The speculation behind the results inside those envelopes & what the nominees are going to wear have been bouncing around all over the web & for the first time, I’m going to share my fashion predictions, based off the Pre-Fall 2013, Spring 2013 Ready-To-Wear, Spring 2013 Haute Couture, & Resort 2013 collection runways. Of course, Oscar-nominated celebrities like Jessica Chastain, Jennifer Lawrence, Anne Hathaway, Amy Adams & Naomi Watts are subject to one-of-a-kind custom-made haute couture gowns, but it’s been a lot of fun to click around & find the most gorgeous gowns that wowed on the runway. In addition to the nominees who are celebrating their achievements in film, possible presenters like Rachel Weisz, Amanda Seyfried, Jennifer Lopez, Emily Blunt, Kate Hudson, Jennifer Garner & more will be turning heads on the red carpet.

Surely there will be lots of glitz & glamour, but predictions of trends are hard to tell. There was so much going on at this year’s Golden Globes, including black, black & gold, white, pink, long sleeves, cut-outs, high slits, & nude illusions. Starting off is a gold lamé & embellished gown from Michael Kors Resort 2013 Collection, which was recently featured in a Runway Rundown post. From Carlos Miele‘s Resort 2013 Collection comes this beautiful embellished sweetheart gown with an animal print under-lining. Some might call the white & black-leather accented Emilio Pucci dress from the Pre-Fall 2013 Collection is too safe for the Oscars, but I think it’s a modern & refreshing take on a white gown.

Michael Kors, Carlos Miele, Emilio Pucci, Monique Lhuillier, & Jenny Packham.

For the risk-taking Style Darling, I can see the metallic long-sleeved gown from Monique Lhuillier‘s Pre-Fall 2013 Collection making an entrance on the red carpet. I picked this tangerine Jenny Packham Spring 2013 Ready-To-Wear Collection gown b/c of its unexpected color, but on the right skin-tone, it will certainly set some trends on the red carpet for the rest of the year.

Next, we have a floral-embroidered belted gown by Temperley London, which was featured in the Pre-Fall 2013 Collection. This has a very classic, Zooey Deschanel look to it, which is why I loved including it! Badgley Mischka is a name synonymous with red carpets & perhaps we’ll see this all-over embellished metallic gown from their Pre-Fall 2013 Collection on one of the front-running Oscar nominees. One of my favorite designers forever & always is Marchesa & I wasn’t surprised to see so many red carpet candidates in their Spring 2013 Ready-To-Wear Collection, including this sari-inspired sheer-overlay blue & gold confection.

Temperley London, Badgley Mischka, Marchesa, Collette Dinnigan, & Roberto Cavalli.

I love the feminine softness from the short-sleeved Collette Dinnigan gown from the Resort 2013 Collection. The coral / fuchsia hue is perfect for an ingénue like the ever-changing Dakota Fanning or the retro Krysten Ritter. Roberto Cavalli‘s black sequined & lace overlay corset-structured gown is a stunning choice for a more dramatic look on the red carpet & it’s from the Pre-Fall 2013 Collection.

Designs by Alexandre Vauthier made a style statement at the Golden Globes since both supermodel Heidi Klum & Downton Abbey actress Michelle Dockery both donned looks, but I picked this leg-baring halter gown from the Spring 2013 Haute Couture Collection. J. Mendel‘s Pre-Fall 2013 Collection was a dreamy mixture of texture, detail, flowy fabrics, & strong silhouettes, including this lace-accented spaghetti strap gown with off-the-shoulder tiers. Also, Giambattista Valli‘s white & gold ball gown took my breath away from its Spring 2013 Haute Couture Collection & would certainly wow fashion critics if worn on Isla Fisher, Julianne Hough, or Kerry Washington.

Alexandre Vauthier, J. Mendel, & Giambattista Valli.

Valentino, Christian Dior, & Elie Saab.

There ought to be room on any red carpet for a Valentino red gown, like this strapless & effortless gown from the Spring 2013 Haute Couture Collection. Also, Christian Dior‘s Spring 2013 Haute Couture Collection featured the pink puffy mermaid ball gown. In addition, someone like Diane Kruger or Zoe Saldana can wear an floral-embellished, dramatic gown like this from Elie Saab‘s Spring 2013 Haute Couture Collection.

After Lucy Liu‘s splash at the Globes in Carolina Herrera, I knew I had to look further into her Pre-Fall 2013 Collection, which included this gorgeous black & white graphic print gown, perfect for fans of the label including Renee Zellweger, Emmy Rossum, or Olivia Wilde.  Next, from Oscar de la Renta‘s Spring 2013 Ready-To-Wear, this aqua tiered dream of a gown is borderline bridesmaid, but the color is just so pretty & it reminds me of the Romona Keveza ball gown that Kaley Cuoco wore at last year’s SAG Awards.

Carolina Herrera, Oscar de la Renta, Zac Posen, & Jason Wu.

You can’t have a look at the best from the runway without talking about American designer, Zac Posen, & his Pre-Fall 2013 Collection, which is a dramatic statement that will change the way black gowns appear on the red carpet. Lastly, a daring look for the Oscars comes from Jason Wu‘s Spring 2013 Ready-To-Wear Collection & perhaps a young starlet like Emma Watson would wear this will some extra lining to fill the skirt since the ceremony is so formal.

Which designers are you hoping to see on the red carpet? Which gown is your favorite? Which nominees are you rooting for during this year’s Oscars? Red Carpet Review: 2013 Art of Elysium Heaven Gala Featuring Kelly Osbourne, Camilla Belle, Ashley Madekwe, & More!

For those of you who have been focusing on the red carpets of the major awards shows, there’s one carpet that I haven’t featured in the last week & that’s the 2013 Art of Elysium Heaven Gala. I didn’t know what it was, but could tell that the star-studded red carpet was fabulous, so I went ahead & learned that the gala is run by a non-profit organization which encourages working artists of the stage, screen, & so forth to dedicate their time to helping children who are battling mental conditions.

Go figure! With that, I’m happy to share the event’s red carpet, including favorites like Camilla Belle, in a dramatic Carolina Herrera gown, as well as a very pregnant Busy Phillipps in a flapper-inspired Alberta Ferretti dressm, Hart of Dixie star Rachel Bilson in an animal-print Valentino design, & Anna Kendrick‘s sweet emerald Dior party look.

The 2013 Golden Globe Awards are still airing, but I just couldn’t wait any longer to post this very thorough gallery. Some of my favorite looks include Tina Fey (in L’Wren Scott), Jennifer Lopez (in Zuhair Murad), Katharine McPhee (in Theyskens’ Theory), Kerry Washington (in Miu Miu), Emily Blunt (in Michael Kors), Lucy Liu (in Carolina Herrera), Rachel Weisz (in Louis Vuitton), Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (in Saint Laurent Paris)… just to name a few!

Top trends included lots of black & gold, as seen on Kate Hudson (in Alexander McQueen), Helen Mirren (in Badgley Mischka), & Nicole Kidman (in Alexander McQueen), as well as reds & oranges like Jennifer Lawrence (in Christian Dior Haute Couture), Jessica Alba (in Oscar de la Renta), Marion Cotillard (in Dior), Claire Danes (in Versace), & Zooey Deschanel (in Oscar de la Renta).

Also, you can’t forget about the black looks, some of which I’ve named in my favorites, but I also loved Julianne Moore (in Tom Ford), Adele (in Burberry), Allison Williams (in J. Mendel), Debra Messing (in Donna Karan Atelier), Sofia Vergara (in a floor-length sequin gown), Eva Longoria (in Pucci), & Salma Hayek (in Gucci).

Lastly, softer nearly colorless colors had their place with Anne Hathaway (in Chanel), Lea Michele (in Elie Saab), Amy Adams (in Marchesa), Amanda Seyfried (in Givenchy), Megan Fox (in Dolce & Gabbana), & Hayden Panettiere (in Roberto Cavalli)!

While I didn’t get a chance to see the ceremony last night, I was pleased to learn that red carpet favorites like Lea Michele in Elie Saab, Taylor Swift in Ralph Lauren, Naomi Watts in Alexander McQueen, & Julianne Hough in Tony Ward Couture didn’t disappoint when they hit the red carpet.  Also, I was pleased to find out who was wearing which gown / dress & ultimately, the winners chosen by the people.  Winners from the ceremony included Katy Perry (who wore a demure Valentino dress), Jennifer Lawrence (in black sheer sparkling Valentino), Jennifer Aniston (in a black leather Christian Dior frock with Tom Ford shoes) & Grey’s Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo (in Lanvin). Red Carpet Review: Top 10 Style Darlings To Watch For 2013!

Miranda Kerr, Solange Knowles, Jessica Chastain, Emma Stone, Rooney Mara, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Olivia Wilde, Malin Akerman, Ashley Greene, & Freida Pinto.

It’s now the final week of 2012 & fashion critics everywhere are compiling their lists of the best looks & best dressed throughout the year. Of course you have the A-listers like Anne Hathaway, Angelina Jolie, Rihanna, Diane Kruger, & Jennifer Lopez who always make a fashionable entrance, but I wanted to share my list of the Top 10 Style Darlings To Watch For 2013, meaning the gals who’ve made their mark on 2012, but still have a lot to share for the upcoming year.  This list includes, in no particular order, Victoria’s Secret model Miranda Kerr, singer / DJ Solange Knowles, stage & screen siren Jessica Chastain, America’s latest sweetheart Emma Stone, Oscar-nominated Rooney Mara, the pillowy-lipped Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, former House star Olivia Wilde, blonde bombshell Malin Akerman, Twilight starlet Ashley Greene, & Indian beauty Freida Pinto.

Miranda Kerr

Miranda Kerr has single-handedly reinvented street style for the mom-on-the-go. Avoiding leggings & oversized tunic sweaters, she’s busting her gams in towering heels, skimpy shorts, classic pencil skirts, & modern looks to show that everyday is a runway.  Here we see the Aussie in a belted white dress by Willow while taking in Sydney. She shows off her tough side in a biker jacket, green sweater by Acne, Tabitha Simmons lace-up booties, & a chic Christian Louboutin bag while in New York. The model isn’t afraid of matching prints in this Helmut Lang shorts suit, paired with Tabitha Simmons ankle strap sandals. Miranda certainly knows how to dine in style in a sultry pewter column gown at the Gramercy Park Hotel.  Lastly, she’s effortless in a Balenciaga printed skirt matched with black separates, including an enviable Givenchy tote bag.

Solange Knowles

News of Beyonce’s baby girl, Blue Ivy, might have started off 2012, but it was little sister Solange Knowles who really made it a year of newsworthy style. She plays with prints & proportion, never afraid of letting her personality show, often experimenting with bright colors. Just last month the singer partied in Miami in a Kenzo sheath dress with transparent sandals. She plays with colorblocking in this demure red & black ensemble with a sparkling tote back & bow bedecked heels. For a garden party at the MoMa, Solange’s floral separates show off her feminine side, especially with killer nude Casadei pumps. While celebrating a Ferragamo event, the talented DJ wears colorful separates by the designer, along with tons of perfectly coiffed curls.  Lastly, one of my favorite looks includes the printed Vera Wang peplum dress that she donned with matching heels for the Runway To Win Launch Party.

Jessica Chastain

Jessica Chastain epitomizes what a modern-day movie star should be & she’s quickly climbing the fashion ranks with such a spectacular 2012 in front of the camera. She always brings out the nonstop glamour with every frock, cocktail dress, & gown that she wears- & they definitely don’t wear her.  It was hard to narrow down five of her best looks since she’s yet to hit on a red carpet slump, but I love the green Karen Caldwell sheath dress paired with suede bold Barbara Bui slingbacks & Harry Winston earrings for an appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman earlier this year.  She went for an all-black sparkling gown with green Bochic earrings, which was to die for against her alabaster skin & rich red hair.  At New York’s Beacon Theatre, this transparent beaded Marios Schwab dress caused quite the stir, but looked radiant with Harry Winston earrings & Giuseppe Zanotti satin heels. It’s rare that we see the Oscar-nominated actress in separates, but I love the look of her Kirna Zabête for Target ensemble, including a printed blouse, full blue skirt, black blazer, & peep toe heels.  Lastly, for the opening night of her run on Broadway in The Heiress, Jessica wowed in a yellow lace Stella McCartney design with nude Christian Louboutins

Emma Stone

Emma Stone has been playing up her red & blonde locks on the red carpet, especially for the promotional tour for The Amazing Spider-Man, which catapulted this girl-next-door into super stardom.  Everyone in Hollywood wants to be her friend & everyone else is coveting her wardrobe.  This includes the two-tone jeweled design by Burberry with a sparkling green pencil skirt & ring by Jennifer Meyer.  Emma’s bubble gum pink Valentino dress worn with the houndstooth pumps by Ferragamo was the match of the year in this feminine take on menswear-inspiration.  For a premiere, she wore a party-worthy Chanel dress with Cartier jewelry & Christian Louboutins to finish the look.  Emma not only sports a dress like no other, but she’s taken risks like this luxe black Elie Saab jumpsuit in London, as well as her Gucci suit with t-strap heels & emeralds by Tiffany & Co. for the People’s Choice Awards.

Rooney Mara

Rooney Mara not only kicked butt on-screen in The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, but she made one heck of a red carpet debut while promoting the film. Her minimalist style was a refreshing & much-needed dose of reality on while showing that you can be edgy & feminine at the same time.  Her blunt bangs have set a trend, as well as her unforgettably mysterious look, mixing progressive silhouettes with that ambiguously flirty stare.  Most recently, Rooney stepped out in Dubai in a custom sculptural dress by Calvin Klein.  She showed off her love of primary colors in this green Louis Vuitton cocktail dress for the Santa Barbara Film Festival.  For the Oscar nominees luncheon, she mixed a jumpsuit from ASOS with a chic white blazer by Thierry Mugler.  When in Rome, Rooney choose a ravishing red gown by Valentino, clad soft lace details. Last, she continues her sometimes androgynous look with a jacket by Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci, mini skirt, & ankle strap heels by Louis Vuitton.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is a regular featured in my posts for Red Carpet Review & Top 10 Celeb Sightings b/c she always gets it right. She’s turned heads not just b/c of her beautiful face & rocking body, but she brings a whole new level of taste to the red carpet as a model-turned-actress.  She’s got movie-star looks & isn’t backing down from any opportunity to steal the spotlight, especially in the stunning two-toned cocktail dress by Burberry with metallic cap toe heels.  One of my favorite looks of the year includes her green ruffled column gown by Gucci, topped off with Jennifer Meyer jewelry & white ankle-strap heels.  Also, Rosie smoldered in a lace overlay design by Jason Wu with a sleek updo, black pumps, & a deep lip color.  She knows how to work a trend, including the leather-detailed peplum dress with contrasting cap toe pumps.  Finally, her street style is pretty amazing too, especially the Stella McCartney printed mini dress with a Jason Wu tote, Alexander Wang sandals, & Burberry sunglasses.

Olivia Wilde

Olivia Wilde was all the talk last year & she’s lived up to her last name in 2012 with a series of looks only a chameleon could pull off.  The green-eyed actress is slated for more than a dozen films in the next few years & she looks happier than ever.  She’s a designer’s darling & can work any number of looks, including Old Hollywood, boho chic, contemporary bombshell, & so on.  Whether she’s blonde or brunette, she can pull off a sleek LBD like this red-belted A.L.C. design paired with pointy toe red pumps.  She looks ethereal in a silver embellished Carolina Herrera gown with a leather Jimmy Choo clutch.  Olivia has made cocktail dresses look renewed again with this lace-trimmed frock by Prada, & I love the contrasting tone peep toe Aperlai slingbacks. She’s not afraid of playing with shapes, as seen in the Calvin Klein caped dress that she wore with strappy sandals & a House of Lavande ring.  Lastly, she’s even effortless in L’Wren Scott separates with bowed Christian Louboutins at a premiere in New York.

Malin Akerman

Malin Akerman mixes her sunny smile with one of the biggest trends of the year: leather.  She’s not afraid of blending her beachy blonde locks with the rock-friendly material, while constantly showing off her love of separates & classic black.  There’s always a retro feel in everything she wears, including her plunging leather vest & leggings with a printed clutch by Barbara Bui & pointy toe Aldo pumps.  She plays with shape in the leather-accented peplum top with trousers by J. Mendel, studded Walter Steiger pumps, & bangles by House of Lavande.  At the Los Angeles premiere of Nobody Walks, Malin wore this classic-cut LBD in leather by Boss Black with a Stephen Webster cuff & suede peep toe heels.  In support of designer Vena Cava, she wore the brand head-to-toe including flared printed trousers & a leather clutch.  Last, the Swedish import looks nothing short of gorgeous in a high slit Cushnie et Ochs tangerine gown with a Coach clutch & sandals by Tibi.

Ashley Greene

Kristen Stewart might have been the talk of the town b/c of her affair & cheating on Rob Pattinson, but it’s Ashley Greene who’s emerged on top of the whole Twilight Saga, what with landing a campaign gig with DKNY & hitting every major red carpet looking bit a lady. She’s got the pose down & has designers in her back pocket, never failing to look age-appropriate, as a good role model for young actresses.  At The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 premiere, Donna Karan Atelier custom-made this one-shoulder blush gown for the actress, which she accessorized with Bvlgari diamonds.  While attending a premiere in Los Angeles, Ashley sported another custom gown by the fashion house in fuchsia with jewelry by Kimberly McDonald. She sure knows how to play up her shape, especially in this nude Emilio Pucci dress with a statement necklace by Karine Sultan, a studded Christian Louboutin clutch, & Casadei pumps.  Back in February at the Loveisrespect launch party, she choose black & white for this sequined Oscar de la Renta frock with Cathy Waterman jewelry.  Last, she surprised in a peach lace design by Yigal Azrouel with suede pumps.

Freida Pinto

Freida Pinto is probably one of my favorite stars to emerge over the last few years since her debut in Slumdog Millionaire.  She’s so beautiful & brings a fresh vibe to many of her red carpet looks.  Whether she’s walking at Cannes or attending press events, she’s nothing short of sophisticated & youthful, all with the flash of her smile.  At the Dubai International Film Festival, she accents her Sam & Lavi printed dress with layered necklaces by Lindsay Vallan & Roger Vivier sandals. Black on black has never looked so chic than on Freida while promoting Desert Dancer in a black AllSaints blouse with skinny jeans & heels.  She mixes eras in a black & white collared top with a ruby red skirt by Contrarian New York & classic Louboutin pumps.  When viewing the Ferragamo show at the Louvre, she donned a beaded dress by the label with a shimmering box clutch & satin pumps. Earlier this year, she played with color in an Yves Saint Laurent bustier with a pencil skirt & satin platforms.

Red Carpet Review: Anne Hathaway & Amanda Seyfried Dazzle While Promoting ‘Les Miserables’!

Ever since news hit the web that there was going to be a full-on movie musical remake of the legendary novel-turned-Broadway play, Les Miserables, I’ve been following its every move of production, including casting news & sneak peeks at the stars singing their hearts on.  Two of the film’s leading ladies, Anne Hathaway & Amanda Seyfried, have been dazzling on the red carpet, which I, naturally, needed to feature b/c there was just too much great fashion not to!

Let’s start with Amanda whose belted Alexander McQueen column gown was an ethereal turn for the blue-eyed blonde, accessorized with mirrored Rupert Sanderson evening sandals. The January In Style cover girl stole the show in a plunging two-toned Balenciaga gown with towering satin platforms for the film’s London premiere.  Amanda returned to pastels in a soft Marios Schwab dress with patent leather peep toes by Rupert Sanderson.  Also, back in October, as the buzz surrounding the film was just starting, Amanda appeared at the Hollywood Film Awards in a ravishing red bustier dress by Prabal Gurung with earrings by Dana Rebecca Designs & platform Jimmy Choo shoes.  Amanda Seyfried & Anne Hathaway

I’ve been talking about Miss Anne quite a lot this year, ever since she debuted her short ‘do back in July, hit the red carpet in Valentino, & shined on the covers of Vogue & Glamour! The newlywed continued to channel Audrey Hepburn in a sleek Victoria Beckham LBD with black pumps. While talking up the film in Tokyo, she donned a Antonio Berardi keyhole dress with open toe patent leather shoes.  She took a risk in a relaxed midnight column gown a New York screening of Les Mis wearing a moonstone cocktail ring by Graziela.  Most recently, she made quite the movie star entrance while showing off her back in an all-over beaded Givenchy gown in London.

There’s no doubt that this is Anne’s year on the red carpet, but I know I can’t take my eyes off of Amanda, whose style seems to get better, fresher, & more feminine at every glance.  Whose red carpet style do you like better? Do you like Anne’s pixie cut? Do you think Amanda was a good choice for Les Miserables? Happy Styling!
