The style icon brings the drama in leopard, sequins, & faux fur to the images, photographed by Dan Jackson & styled by Dena Giannini. Cover Craze: Stranger Things Star Sadie Sink is the Face of FASHION Magazine’s September Issue!

If you’re still catching up with the second volume of Stranger Things‘ 4th season, lean in! The anticipation for the 5th & final season is real, especially as star Sadie Sink is stepping more & more into the spotlight both on the Netflix fantasy drama & in other projects. The 20-year-old redhead is the face of FASHION magazine’s September issue, speaking to the article‘s author, Annika Lautens, about her journey to stardom starting out in regional theater in Houston with her brother, along with learning from colleagues, like Taylor Swift & Helen Mirren.

For the feature article’s photo shoot, styled by Karen Clarkson & photographed by Royal Gilbert, the Fear Street star’s feminine side sparkles with lots of pink, lace, regal jewels, & pointy toe pumps, which are a departure from her personal off-screen style that includes baggy jeans, a tee, & a blazer. However, the looks for the shoot derive from designers, such as Miu Miu, Versace, GCDS, Bulgari, Moschino, Gucci, Alaia, & Prada.

Later this year, Sadie can be seen alongside Brendan Fraser & Samantha Morton, in Darren Aronofsky’s The Whale, as well as Dear Zoe with Jessica Capshaw & Justin Bartha. What do you think of Sadie’s photo shoot? Are you reeling over Max’s journey on Stranger Things this season? Who is your favorite character from the show? Cover Craze: Beyoncé’s Renaissance Images are Just as Evocative as Her Music!

Usually Style Darling Daily‘s Cover Craze posts categorize stylish stars on the cover of magazines, but a new images worthy of celebration include the companion art to Beyoncé‘s Renaissance album. The staggeringly stylish collection of images goes beyond Vogue or what any music video can do in setting the tone for the 28-time Grammy winner’s seventh studio album that was produced over the course of the last three years, including during the pandemic, featuring a mix of dance, pop, funk, & techno sounds to get listeners moving!

In addition to the uptempo sound on the album, the visuals feature looks from brands & designers like Natalia Fedner, Dolce & Gabbana, Mugler, Schiaparelli, Rick Owens, Bethany Cordwell, Buerlangma, Alaia, Brian Lichtenberg, Gucci, Melissa Simon Hartman, House of Emmanuele, Christopher John Rogers, Piers Atkinson, Luis De Javier, Philipp Plein, & Gianni Naazar & Nusi Quero, all styled by Marni Senofonte & KJ Moody.

Not only are the album’s images inspired by Beyoncé’s mature & artistic side, but according to Insider, the three-act project “pays homage to queer ball culture” & “is indebted to her late Uncle Johnny, whom she described in 2019 as ‘the most fabulous gay man I’ve ever met,'” adding, “‘He was my godmother and the first person to expose me to a lot of the music and culture that serve as inspiration for this album.'”

What do you think of Beyoncé’s album & art? Have you been listening to “Break My Soul” on repeat? What’s your favorite song on the album?

Cover Craze: Kim Kardashian Goes Blonde on Allure’s August 2022 Issue!

Even if you’re not a fan of the Kardashian-Jenner empire, you can’t deny the impact that the 5 sisters (Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, Kendall, & Kylie) have had on social media, fashion, beauty, & pop culture. Most recently, Kim Kardashian is the star of Allure‘s August 2022 cover, where she speaks with writer Danielle Pergament, getting real about her career & family goals, the public’s perception of her, beauty standards, & her commitment to her beauty regimen with her recently launched nine-step skincare line SKKN by Kim. Along with the article, the images are photographed by Danielle Levitt, featuring Kim decked out in long blonde hair & styled by Kyle Luu with pieces from Skims, Alaia, Bulgari, Paris Texas, Schiaparelli Haute Couture, & Jimmy Choo.

Kim states, “There are so many different beauty standards — whether it’s Gwen Stefani, Jennifer Lopez, Marilyn Monroe. When I was a teenager, [the look] was just blonde waifs…My mentality was…always: Be yourself, find beauty in everything.”

On the media’s perception of her success & intelligence, Kim shares, “I think I’ve always just been the underdog…Being on a reality show and that’s not respected…Feeling like I need to work harder to show you guys that I’m not the person you think.” The aspiring lawyer also adds, “It would be amazing to retire being Kim K and just be a lawyer. But if it all went away, I would be just as happy…“I would want people to walk away and be like, ‘She was a good person, and she did some good things.’”

Check out the video below from Allure, where Kim answers questions about beauty:

Cover Craze: Beyonce’s Bold British Vogue Cover Shoot!

New Beyoncé music is coming! New Beyoncé music is coming! Not only that, but the superstar songstress, actress, & mother is killing it on the July 2022 cover of British Vogue. In the article “B Ready: Beyoncé Is Poised For Her Next Evolution” by Edward Enninful with glamorously hip & edgy photographs by Rafael Pavarotti, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter ignites the internet with the news of her forthcoming album Renaissance, which will be released on July 29th.

The shoot includes gorgeous looks featuring pieces from legendary & daring names, such as: Alaia, Schiaparelli Haute Couture, Harris Reed & Roker, Tiffany & Co., Junya Watanabe, Lorraine Schwartz, Malakai, Vivienne H. Lake, Eddie Borgo, & Commando. The stunning images were inspired by “a fashion fantasia spun from the tropes of club life during the last century’s final quarter [featuring] mirror balls, light boxes, [and] headdresses,” Enninful claims, which only makes sense for the iconic powerhouse that Beyoncé is, 6 solo records later & after winning 28 Grammy Awards!

All About Platforms with Jessica Alba!

Jessica Alba has always been one of my favorite celebrities to watch out for on the red carpet because several elements of her personal style mirror my own. She loves feminine, classic pieces, never straying too far into an architectural or modern aesthetic, but still appearing current & trendy. While the actress / entrepreneur has been promoting her new series L.A.’s Finest (also starring the always exquisite Gabrielle Union), as well as her brand The Honest Company, Jessica has been all about platforms. I couldn’t help but notice the chunky shoe under many of her dresses during her promotional tour, a choice that I would not personally make, but something I love to look at with her red carpet fashion, which has a very 70s & 90s glam vibe right now.

Below Jessica goes peachy in a Giambattista Valli Spring 2019 dress with beige patent leather platforms & an Alaia cropped shirt with a striped skirt in Jimmy Choo platforms.

Also, at the Monte Carlo TV Festival, Jessica wore an orange Silvia Tcherassi belted dress with a Mulberry bag & satin platforms. For her Honest Beauty Meet & Greet, Jessica looks heavenly in a Self Portrait midi dress with rust suede Salvatore Ferragamo platforms.
