Last night’s Screen Actor’s Guild Awards were full of red carpet surprises from veteran A-listers like Cake nominee (in vintage Jennifer Aniston Galliano), Birdman‘s (in Emma Stone Dior Couture), America’s sweetheart (in Julia Roberts Givenchy), Homeland‘s (in Claire Danes Marc Jacobs), & last year’s it-girl, (in Lupita Nyong’o Elie Saab). Also, there were plenty of newcomers who made an impact, including many Orange is the New Black winners like (in Uzo Aduba Angel Sanchez) & (in Danielle Brooks Christian Siriano), as well as Game of Thrones‘ (in Maisie Williams Self-Portrait).
Some of my favorites of the night included The Imitation Game nominee (in Keira Knightley Erdem), Wild‘s (in Reese Witherspoon Atelier Versace), model & wife, (in Camila Alves McConauhey Donna Karan), designer darling (in Emmy Rossum Armani Prive), Modern Family‘s rising star (in Sarah Hyland Vera Wang), St. Vincent nominee (in Naomi Watts Balenciaga), How to Get Away with Murder winner (in Viola Davis Max Mara), & this season’s golden girl, Still Alice winner, (in Julianne Moore Givenchy).
