Red Carpet Review: The Best & Most Daring Looks from the 2022 BET Awards!

Last night’s BET Awards honored the achievements of black musicians from the past year, but were not without fanfare & glamour on the red carpet, using the awards platform for both style statements and vital political messages. Some of the red carpet highlights include Lizzo wearing a glittery navy Gucci gown, along with Taraji P. Henson in a striking, silver Tom Ford design, Chloe Bailey stunning in a Nicholas Jebran swirly look, Cynthia Erivo turning heads in a multicolor Louis Vuitton ensemble, Janelle Monae‘s transparent Roberto Cavalli gown, Lena Waithe in a pastel Casablanca suit, Halle Bailey‘s plunging Monot dress, Paula Patton in a magenta mini, & Marsai Martin in a custom Dolce & Gabbana flapper-inspired dress.

Check out the gallery & slideshow below to catch up on who sparkles, who took a risk, & who took their style game to a whole new level!
