Fashion Flashback: Naomi Watts’ Timeless Style for her 56th Birthday!

Australian starlet Naomi Watts is an a-lister, mother of two, & style icon with two Academy Award nominations. She’s a celebrated actress with quite the résumé, including King Kong, Mulholland Drive, The Impossible, Diana, & more!

Her red carpet style is enviable, playing up classic silhouettes & upgrading the wow factor with sparkles & volume for awards shows, film festivals, or the Met Gala. I’m honor of her 56th birthday today, I put together a breathtaking gallery of her history of gowns, designed by some of the most luxurious & in-demand names in fashion:

Red Carpet Review: Ana de Armas in Louis Vuitton at the Venice Film Festival’s premiere of Blonde!

When I learned that Golden Globe-nominated actress Ana de Armas had arrived in Venice, I was so excited to refresh my feeds to see what the Cuban star would wear to the highly-anticipated premiere of her controversial film, Blonde, where she stars as Marilyn Monroe. Naturally, her red carpet look would be elegant & stunning, but also, I wondered if & how the gown would represent the bombshell icon at the center of the film.

In a bright pink pleated gown with a deep-v by Louis Vuitton, Ana graced the red carpet in true Hollywood fashion. Her gentle waves & sophisticated jewelry by Messika hearken to an era of glamour & ease that offers a refreshing twist on Barbiecore.

Additionally, the hue pays homage to Marilyn’s signature pink from her “Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend” musical sequence in the 1949 film Gentleman Prefer Blondes; likewise, the halter & pleated look of Ana’s dress are reminiscent of the iconic subway grate scene in The Seven Year Itch from 1955.

Escorted to the premiere by one of the film’s producers, Brad Pitt, Ana shines, which is no surprise. I hope this marks the beginning of an exciting & stylish press tour for the 2 hour 46-minute film that’s rated NC-17 & is based on the disorienting evocative fictional biography by Joyce Carol Oates that begins streaming on Netflix on September 28th, especially leading up to awards season!

What do you think of Ana’s red carpet look? Are you excited to see Blonde? Are you a fan of Marilyn Monroe’s films? Fashion Flashback: Singer Kacey Musgraves’ Most Stylish Looks for Her 34th Birthday!

One of my favorite singer-songwriters, Kacey Musgraves, is celebrating her 34th birthday today! Her music is a mix of country & pop, with plenty of hope, heartache, & humor that connect her to listeners to her inner most thoughts.

In addition to six Grammys & a still very bright career ahead of her, Kacey’s style is a mix of bombshell glam, country sparkle, & hippie chic. Kacey loves volume & texture in her looks, along with playing up her figure in bold neon & glowing pastel colors. Also, the singer kills in it suits, especially when mixing femininity with more masculine details. Take a look through the gallery below to pick your favorite from the “Justified” singer’s performances, red carpet appearances, street style, & more!

Fashion Flashback: 60+ Times Cameron Diaz Ruled the Red Carpet!

The news that actress Cameron Diaz is coming out of retirement to join Jamie Foxx in the new feature film, Back in Action, for the first time in eight years has me very nostalgic for the movie star style that inspired me to begin Style Darling Daily over a decade ago. If you haven’t seen My Best Friend’s Wedding, The Mask, There’s Something About Mary, Charlie’s Angels, any of the Shrek movies, or The Holiday, then you’re missing out on some 90s-00s film gold for the entertainment & charm that Cameron serves up on screen. Hence, why the blogosphere is in a tizzy over her highly-anticipated big screen return.

In addition the aforementioned films, the four-time Golden Globe-nominated star & best-selling author was once a red carpet regular, but an international superstar of the silver screen, not only wearing the chicest designers to events, like the Academy Awards, but also for her California-girl appeal, elevating mini dresses for glamorous movie premieres & other photo-worthy occasions. Check out the slideshow & gallery below for over 60 images that prove Cameron rules the red carpet & will continue to do so when she makes her return to Hollywood:

Red Carpet Review: Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson, & More at the UK Premiere of Thor: Love & Thunder!

As Marvel fans breathlessly await the world premiere of Thor: Love & Thunder, the film’s female stars, Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson, & Pom Klementieff, hit the blue carpet to promote the action movie in the UK, along with director Taika Waititi, his girlfriend, singer, Rita Ora, & athlete Serena Williams, all of whom killed it when it comes to top shelf style.

However, it’s Natalie’s red mini Dior dress & flower crown, along with Tessa’s golden fringe dress by Oscar de la Renta that were not only the talk of London, but also currently the internet! Additionally, Rita’s shimmery & dazzling Elie Saab gown was a showstopper, as well as Pom’s edgy, biker-inspired Alexander McQueen frock.

Check out the slideshow & gallery below for all the fabulous fashions from last night’s premiere:
