Last summer, my love for linen (& caring for linen) began with these tanks, which are available currently for linen shorts or wide leg pants, denim cut-offs, peasant skirts, or ankle pants.
I love the ease & loose fit of these tops, along with the classic neckline. These are summer staples for me on weekends when my style priority is comfort. How would you style these tops? While a loose-fitting t-shirts can be styled up & worn casually all summer long, a smocked top in a flattering silhouette adds a feminine touch when heading out to a concert, beachfront walk at sunrise, or family picnic.

Sometimes the hardest part of a day at the beach is planning what to bring. Having not only a stylish, but spacious bag to carry all your beach essentials in makes all the difference. Depending on your company or destination, you may want some options in your summer accessories arsenal.

Statement jewelry may not be a go-to for every shopper, but the color combinations & shapes are hard to pass by, especially since summer means wedding season.
This set can easily be styled separately or worn together for any special event, accentuating the purple & amber tones of an outfit, as well as the chocolate & pewter tones. Even though a wedge isn’t exclusive to summer, it’s a staple that is available in a variety of styles & colors, many of which are neutral for any summer outfit. Crochet, raffia, & basket weave details offer a contrast in textures against the season’s boldest prints & neon hues.
The platform espadrille is so pretty, especially when coordinated with a floral or linen look. how would you style these shoes? How often do you wear espadrilles in the summer? Where are you shopping for the latest footwear deals? For more stylish posts, check out: raffia statement earrings, sheer sleeve tops from Amazon, & stylish linen-blend sets! Happy Styling!
Summer is the perfect time of year to play up color in your accessories, whether you’re wearing a maxi dress, printed romper, off-the-shoulder top & linen shorts, or a t-shirt & jeans. Not to mention, one of the trendiest textures for accessories is raffia, which makes a bold & playful statement all season long.

During a recent pursuit of burgundy tops (for school spirit days next semester), I came across an Amazon retailer that offers a stylish top in 27 varieties. As I plan my summer wardrobe, vacation ensembles, & filter out older pieces to donate, I’m always on the hunt for some staple stand-by pieces for upcoming busy weeks & weekends.
I have already ordered the burgundy, black, Kelly green, & cobalt blue, along with 2 of the printed varieties. They run true to size & I love how they can be styled with jeans, a pencil skirt, linen shorts, wide leg palazzo pants, faux leather pants, or ankle pants for any time of the year. Also, I’m excited to style these up with drop earrings or a statement necklace, as well as cluster studs & charm bracelets.
As you may already know, I love a matching set; however, I haven’t ventured much beyond pajamas & loungewear for a set, but I’m very impressed by this classic summer ensemble that also works so nicely when coordinated with other wardrobe staples too!
Deals on seasonal staples aren’t that hard to come by, but one that’s a can’t miss is a quality rib tank top full of styling possibility—with linen shorts & slides, a midi skirt & statement necklace, a button down shirt & cut off jeans, a tailored blazer & pencil skirt, & more!
The refreshing, charming, & empowering conversation sheds lights on the evolutions of these child actors as they navigate agency in the entertainment industry as both actresses & producers, as well as the complexities of social media presence as young women changing the game for future performers.
Check out the endearing & raw discussion below:
While the next season of Wednesday is still in production, the third season of The Great is currently streaming on Hulu. I’m such a fan of these young stars & can’t help but praise their poise, intelligence, empathy, & style with what they’re offering to viewers.
The time is now to hop aboard the Kohl’s train with their major clearance blowouts, Kohl’s Cash (if you have it), & summer sales, including some must-have accessories to wear all year long. One of my favorite fashion jewelry brands, LC Lauren Conrad, knows a thing or two about chic subtlety when it comes to jewelry for special occasions, a professional look, or for the everyday outfit.
I’ve been loving carrying a lighter load with me on weekends & now that my weekday work responsibilities have lightened by using my silver croc crossbody, but I like to also alternate it with another stylish option to get the most wear out of it. Not to mention, I was seeing an animal print or more subtle neutral to wear moving ahead through summer into fall.
I love the larger size of this crossbody without the bulk of a shoulder bag tote, as well as the smooth fabric & chic print. As my family is planning some upcoming haunts, I’m a little more stylish when on the go & headed for a fun time!
If a dress, top, pants, or jacket has some stretch to it, I’m all about it. In every day life with work & family, I don’t have the patience to feel constricted in my clothing, especially in summer. A smocked bust or detail in a dress makes all the difference, especially for curvier women.
I love the pop of color in the turquoise & the chic simplicity of the leopard print. I’m torn about which one to wear to my daughter’s preschool graduation, but I know I’ll get a lot of stylish use out of both this season. Not to mention, good on Target for not only the style variety, but also the vast size range for a classic summer dress!
As I continue to expand my sleepwear & loungewear wardrobe, I love finding pieces that seamlessly work for both parts of my life. When it comes to linen, I even hope that a piece will coordinate for an office summer look. As much as I do rely on neutrals for this time of year to offset with a pop of color, I’m also very much into pink bottoms!
Recently, I bought the pink pair on a whim without a sale & I’m so glad I did. the only thing to consider with these pants is that the linen is very lightweight & you should wear flesh-tone underwear to avoid any see-through moments. Currently, I have ordered the blue pair as well.
Cute tops are everywhere this summer! The cuts, fabrics, & prints are more interchangeable than ever when it comes to styling & getting the most out of your wardrobe. Specifically, Free Assembly‘s summer line at Walmart is turning up the volume with a flattering top in a can’t-miss variety.
I love the idea of this top with denim cut-off, linen shorts, satin joggers, or ankle pants, topped off with a denim jacket, woven bolero, or athleisure jacket. For summer, I love the mixed floral print, but the blue stripes reminds me of the freshness of seersucker this season.
Prairiecore style continues to dominate the summer with peasant tops & skirts, linen & wide leg separates, & sundresses galore. In some cases, it may be difficult to incorporate these pieces into a work look. However, this newest Time & Tru find is not only the dress of the summer, but full of styling possibilities for any time of year!
As pictured, the dress can be worn with boots of any variety, but can also coordinate with a woven belt & long cardigan, a printed blazer & ballet flats, & more! The washed denim options are especially on trend if you’re loving all the of the chambray looks on social media.
The hype for the new Barbie movie continues to grow, as does my obsession with watching & reading every detail the upcoming film depiction of the Mattel doll that changed the world. Starring Margot Robbie & Ryan Gosling, the Greta Gerwig-directed film finds Barbie entering the real world, but not without a majorly glitzy dance sequence.
Barbiecore isn’t just taking over fashion & Hollywood, but Dua Lipa‘s new single “Dance the Night” for the film explodes with pink, fun, & celebration, including some clips of the stars dancing. The pop hit follows suit with her signature uptempo club-heavy sound, much like her Grammy-winning album Future Nostalgia. The singer holds her own in the Barbie universe, as seen in the video, along with some humor added with an appearance of the director.
I have this song on repeat whenever I can. Not only is it the perfect tune for the July 21st release, but it’s also a summer hit in-the-making.
One of my favorite buy-one-in-every-color finds has expanded with another variety. This time, a blouse with so much styling potential, is available in black & ivory to pair seamlessly with so many different bottoms, but also a printed blazer, denim jacket, flyaway cardigan, & embellished bolero.
After this Memorial Day weekend, the summer sales are in full flux, which is perfect timing if you’re planning your next weekend getaway, beach day, or winery trip with girlfriends. An oversized tote to stash all of your necessities is just the thing!
In the article written by Abby Aguirre, there’s much discussion over Margot’s own Barbie memories, preparing for the iconic role, the highs & lows of producing the film, costume designer Jacqueline Durran’s Barbie vision, & much more!
As my husband & I plan for a vacation in July, I probably think most about my options for sleepwear so that I can rest comfortably between daily jaunts. In recent years, I’ve definitely been more drawn to matching sets & why not? When there are so many styles & prints to choose from, I love finding new, playful, & stylish varieties.
I’m making a promise to wear as many skirts as I can this summer, especially since I’ve been guilty of neglecting them. However, to do that, I need to ensure that I have the right tops to wear since I’m considering these skirts for my daily summer classes, starting on Wednesday. It’s just my luck that New York & Company had these:
While I love the color variety, I do wish there was a red, navy, & cobalt option. Also, as the retailer has been offering more inclusive sizes, this top isn’t available beyond a XXL. How would you style this top? Which color do you like the best? How often do you wear a flutter sleeve? The wait is over for the mystery plot of Greta Gerwig’s Barbie film, starring Margot Robbie & Ryan Gosling! The plot, which see Barbie make a choice about entering the real world, looks like not only an homage to America’s favorite fashion doll, but a funny & intelligent take on the misconceptions about her too. The film, set for a July 21st theatrical release, is bound to garner lots of buzz & blow up this summer’s already fabulous Barbiecore trends.
