With fall just around the corner & a school already underway in some places, it’s time to start planning ahead! Recently, I’ve been more drawn to building up my collection of white & cream tops. Also, I’m excited to seize the opportunity to wear pumpkin hues!
In person, this top looks both comfortable for under a puffer vest or flannel or professional with a plaid trouser & ankle boots. My go-to is the black as the texture will enhance any look with a printed pair of pants, but I do love the other colors, too! I’m certainly not rushing the end of summer, but I’m excited to break these out with wide leg jeans, faux leather leggings, or a utility skirt.
I love kicking off the school year in a dress, one that’s fashionable, functional, & versatile in styling possibilities. While I do love my classic scuba fit & flare dresses of yesteryear, I’m so drawn to the flowy ease of a “basic” dress that’s really anything but—
This season, I’m loving the fall tones, including olive, burgundy, & pumpkin. Of course, any of these dresses can be styled with a denim jacket or duster cardigan, as well as ankle booties or cowboy boots. Which dress do you like best? Which colors are you drawn to? With fall fashion here, you can explore your preppy or grunge 90s style with a variety of ribbed & striped sweater options @H&M for when the cooler weather finally arrives. If you’re into the minimalist or monochromatic look, these sweaters–even with some stripe–are for you. Consider mixing neutrals to get the most out of your wardrobe with any of these sweater varieties!
With fall around the corner, retailers have the Halloween season on the brain. Not only is home decor hitting shelves, but also Halloween-inspired fashion to mix into your wardrobe. I was never really one to go literal with festive clothing until I became a mother & now, I’m loving stylish & surprising details in my wardrobe to signify a holiday.
When I first saw the foil pumpkin top, I thought it had rose gold flowers on it & I was on board; however, I love the pumpkins & I’m super excited to find trendy ways to incorporate this into my wardrobe. Also, if headed to a Halloween-themed gathering (minus costumes), the ghosts are a playful option. Either tee can be paired with jeans or joggers, as well as faux leather leggings or a denim skirt, along with ankle boots or sneakers.
It’s no wonder pull-on pants are all the rage in fashion these days. Post-COVID style has majorly changed & while the masses are hungry for chic duds, comfort is key! Meanwhile, the 90s are smashing into this mentality & here we have a casual, yet stylish option for pants to mix & match with our everyday & work wardrobe.
While I’m not one to wear paler colors on my bottom half, I do love the dusty rose look of these. Additionally, these can be styled with a tucked in pullover sweater & layered necklaces or with a flannel & puffer vest. How would you style these pants? Are you on board with the pull-on pants trend? How often would you work these into your professional wardrobe? About this time last year, I posted about cozy tunic tops by Time & True @Walmart & here we are again! However, the newest run of these soft, luxe, & comfortable tops includes some new colors & a high school neck. I prefer this cut much more than the v-neck, even though I’ve worn mine plenty during the colder months.
These can be styled in a variety of ways, including with lightwash jeans & layered necklaces, as well as with a statement necklace & faux leather leggings. How would you style this top? Which color do you like the best? How often do you wear tunic tops? For more stylish posts, check out: new fall cardigans from Old Navy, inclusive skirt sets for fall, & chic mixed media hoodies! My favorite all-time article of clothing has to be a cardigan. I love the way it completes a look & highlights a color story in an outfit. Additionally, I get really excited about finding cardigans with various details, such as different necklines, sleeve lengths, or button adornments. However, a classic cardigan can take you far this coming fall, especially when paired with a blouse & joggers, a knotted graphic tee & jeans, or over a sheath dress with mules.
These timeless cardigans are not only cozy, but also available in 8 colors that will get you through fall, winter, & the cooler spring months. Which color do you like the best? How do you usually style a cardigan? Where are you shopping for fall staple pieces? Who doesn’t love an outfit that you don’t even have to think about putting together? Well, that’s why matching sets, whether for a casual loungewear look, date night, or teacher outfit, are the biggest trend this coming fall. Matching sets don’t have to just include sleepwear, especially when a more utilitarian & minimalist 90s aesthetic is dominating retailers. Take a look at the matching sets below!
I love the inclusivity of both styles, especially with different skirt lengths, but I’m really impressed with the ease of taking these from day to night as well. For either look, the pieces can be coordinated with other wardrobe staples, such as a knotted graphic tee, button-down shirt, or light wash jeans. Not to mention that the shoe possibilities are endless with loafers, mules, sneakers, or ankle boots.
Once the weather transitions from hot & muggy to cool & crisp, it’ll be time to break out the outerwear options. Fall fashions are in full force right now & there are so many cute & affordable options to freshen up last year’s fall wardrobe & top off your look in style.
I love the ease of this jacket, which looks like a sweat jacket with a belted blazer silhouette. It’s perfect for casual Fridays or a teacher outfit with a button-down or blouse & jeans or topping a peasant dress & cowboy boots to transition into the next season. While I love the olive hue, I do have my eye on the versatility of the black jacket.
When putting an outfit together for a work day, sometimes the more subtle & professional you look, the better. However, it’s the minor details that make all the difference. For example, a flutter sleeve!
I love the color variety of these tops, along with the flattering v-neck & shoulder details. I imagine styling this with plaid pants & a cardigan, a pencil skirt & flywaway blazer, or hoop earrings & jeans. Also, I have my eye on the pumpkin hue, perfect for matching with black, navy, olive, khaki, & brown separates. How would you style this top? Which color do you like best? As the casual days of fall are approaching, so are the fabulous fall colors that can be worn for any kind of outfit, especially loungewear. If you’re like me & you have an “around the house” / “off duty” wardrobe, then you’ll love the comfort & versatility in these tops below!
I love the idea of pairing this cozy top with velvet leggings on a chilly fall Sunday, a puffer jacket & jeans when heading out pumpkin picking, or with faux leather pants & ankle boots to dress up this oversized piece. I’ll tell you, Time & Tru never fails when it comes to comfy clothing as most of my “off-duty” pieces are from this brand. I’m especially loving this option to mix with my patterned leggings for some playful & stylish looks when baking with my daughter or heading to the store.
As we’re about to reenter cardigan season, I’m struggling to hold out on investing in any more fall pieces (for budget purposes), but I can’t stop thinking about this cardigan, which is not only chic, but looks so comfortable for a variety of outfits!
Sometimes when I’m putting an outfit together, I think about pattern first–if I want to wear florals, leopard, or lines. This cardigan is a stylish two-in-one with each half of the front devoted to an oversized leopard print & preppy argyle. I’d like to style this with faux leather leggings & sneakers, skinny pants & ballet flats, or jeans & ankle booties for fall.
90s trends have taken over summer & they’re not stopping for fall, including neutral sweater vests, which transition nicely from season-to-season. Pair a sweater vest with high waist trousers, plaid ankle pants, distressed boyfriend jeans, or under a blazer, & your look is complete, especially if coordinating in sleek, neutral tones.
Also, a sweater vest is perfect for over a button down shirt & straight leg pants or with a statement necklace, satin midi skirt, & loafers. How would you style this item? Which color do you like the best? Do you like to wear sweater vests? If anyone knows how to do summer in style, it’s Jennifer Lopez. She never fails to bring the drama, flair, & street when hitting the red carpet; however, it’s often her more feminine & delicate looks that are truly breathtaking & inspiring.
On Tuesday, the multihyphenate celebrated National Spritz Day while promoting Delola, her new business venture of “world class crafted cocktails,” according to the brand’s website. As posted on her Instagram, a video, featuring Taylor Swift‘s “Cruel Summer,” shows Jennifer exiting her summer home (maybe in The Hamptons?), wearing a gorgeous green–her favorite color–coreseted floral midi dress with a slit (see below), It’s a perfectly breezy choice for the summer & occasion. Additionally, the dress is affordable for $47.99! Keep scrolling!
Shop the exact dress here:
SHOP:Houseofcb vintage floral print side slit corset midi dress in gardenia @Sthcute ($47.99, available in sizes S-L). However, while the dress is a great price, the inclusivity is missing, which is why I also selected these equally breezy & floral mint options to recreate the essence of JLo’s look:
Jennifer’s effortless & timeless look is finished off with thick round gold hoop earrings (shop similar here) & rose gold flip flops (shop similar here), which can be found more affordably here:
While everyone in the world is talking about the Barbie movie, it’s not only Margot Robbie & Ryan Gosling‘s performances that are being praised, but America Ferrera‘s empowering role as Gloria as well. During the film’s promotional tour earlier this month, while the cast journeyed from continent to continent, the Golden Globe & Emmy-winning actress took to Instagram in London in a chic & polished striped J.Crew button-down (that was customized with cropping), a leather midi pencil skirt by Matches, white stiletto pumps (shop similar here), & gold hammered earrings (shop similar here). However, for any Style Darling of any size, I was inspired to build this look from affordable, inclusive pieces!
The total ensemble isn’t hard to put together with classic wardrobe staples: a button-down shirt, pencil skirt, gold earrings, & heels; however, the stripe details, a faux leather texture, white contrast, & gold shine elevate the entire look. Try these recommended pieces below to recreate the look:
Last summer, my entire fall & work wardrobe changed with Target’s A New Day tapered pull-on pants that felt like sweatpants, but appeared like perfect work pants! Currently, the pants, which cold out FAST, are back with more color variety & neutral prints.
I’m most excited about the burgundy pair. Also, I love the ankle length since I am 5’3″ & they fit perfectly. These are also versatile for casual & in-office days without feeling too stuffy. I can’t recommend these enough with a ruffled blouse & ballet flats, a button-down shirt & loafers, a pullover sweater & stilettos, & wrap top slides.
‘Tis the season for sundresses! Whether you’re trying to beat the heat or stay stylish, there are so many options right now that can easily be dressed up or down for any occasion. Take a look through these 5 fashionable, affordable, & inclusive dresses to build your next look!
All over social media, I’m seeing sundress after sundress in bright, playful colors in linen, cotton, & other fabric blends, inspiring shoppers to style up looks for baby showers, graduation parties, & daytime weddings. However, this particular dress in selling out fast!
I love the green option—being my favorite color—but also the stripes & florals are definitely popular for a reason. Any of these dresses will look fabulous with colorful beads, raffia earrings, or stacked bangles, as well as with a crochet cardigan & braided slides.
If a dress, top, pants, or jacket has some stretch to it, I’m all about it. In every day life with work & family, I don’t have the patience to feel constricted in my clothing, especially in summer. A smocked bust or detail in a dress makes all the difference, especially for curvier women.
I love the pop of color in the turquoise & the chic simplicity of the leopard print. I’m torn about which one to wear to my daughter’s preschool graduation, but I know I’ll get a lot of stylish use out of both this season. Not to mention, good on Target for not only the style variety, but also the vast size range for a classic summer dress!
Matching sets are one of the major trends over the last year or so & they’re not going away this summer. Nor should they! When it comes to the ease of getting ready for a fun day or heading into the office, donning a matching set is a no-brainer, especially when they come in vibrant colors, sleek neutrals, or playful patterns. Additionally, a set can be broken up & worn with other wardrobe staples, such as a band t-shirt or solid tank, denim shorts or joggers, or a cuffed blazer or flyaway cardigan.
For anyone who loves the sleepwear-meets-loungewear trend, Walmart‘s Joyspun brand has their summer twist with a new lightweight pajama set that’s both stylish & comfortable!
I love the patterns of these, especially for weekends at home or when packing a fun sleepwear option for an upcoming vacation. Not to mention, a set like this is ideal for any at-home spa day!
We’re in an era of comfort where pull-on pants are plentifully available & the season’s most popular color for a pull-on pant, aside from the staple black, is pink! I’m wary of wide leg pants; however, the slit trend is also major right now. Whether I’m putting together a work look or ensemble for a girls’ night, comfort is key!
I gave both pair & can’t wait to style them up with embellished flats, braided slides, or pointy toe pumps. I love both colors & wish that more were offered, including green, navy, or gray. How would you style these inclusive pants? How often do you wear magenta bottoms? Where are you shopping for inclusive finds? Last year’s coastal grandmother trend isn’t going away any time soon, which is why we’re seeing so much linen & cotton this season. It makes sense—after all, the cool, comfortable & classic gauzy look is effortless & stylish for all sizes. Currently, Walmart’s Joyspun sleepwear label is selling the following pieces (a tank with shorts set, as well as a top & pants separates) that triple in use for sleep, loungewear, & beachwear! Most of all, t while the matching sets whichever way you wear them are chic, they can be mixed up with other staple wardrobe pieces, including a denim jacket, button-down shirt, graphic t-shirt, or midi skirt.
Personally, I love the black with the palm leaves, as well as the multicolor stripes, but I might just also get the black pants to wear all summer long too! How would you style these gauze separates? Would you wear these just to sleep or out & about? Which style do you like the best? The 90s are back with a stylish vengeance this season, including the slip dress trend! However, todays pick includes an inclusive slip dress in linen, perfect for an evening outing with metallic sides & a braided belt, the weekend with tennis shoes & a denim jacket, or poolside over a swimsuit.
I especially love the multicolor printed dress, as well as the stripes. If this was available in a maxi dress cut, I’d add them to my cart, for sure! I love sharing these with readers, especially since it’s an affordable find & available in a variety of sizes!
Loungewear & sleepwear has come a long way in the last few years & I’m loving it! I’ve never paid much kind to sleepwear sets in the past, but the ease of getting ready for bed, along with variety of affordable & super soft-to-the-touch options, my entire perspective has changed! Check out the new separates below to put together your next comfy look:
I have the leopard separates & can’t wait for truly warmer weather to wear these for an at-home weekend or simply for a good night’s rest. However, I’m also a fan on the all-gray, as well as the stripes.
