I’ve been loving carrying a lighter load with me on weekends & now that my weekday work responsibilities have lightened by using my silver croc crossbody, but I like to also alternate it with another stylish option to get the most wear out of it. Not to mention, I was seeing an animal print or more subtle neutral to wear moving ahead through summer into fall.
I love the larger size of this crossbody without the bulk of a shoulder bag tote, as well as the smooth fabric & chic print. As my family is planning some upcoming haunts, I’m a little more stylish when on the go & headed for a fun time!
Now that spring has sprung & 2 local trips are planned between now & early June, it’s time I start looking ahead to summer—in style! While linen does wrinkle & require care when washing, it is a breathable, comfortable, & classic material for a dress. Even better, a flattering & inclusive dress that can be styled up or worn casually.
My favorite is the green, but I did recently get the green eyelet dress I posted about back in February, so I think the blue (navy) will be a formidable option. I do wish there was a thicker strap, but the puckering across the waist is so flattering.
I can’t believe I’m posting about shorts when it’s still so chilly here on Long Island, but spring break is in reach & I’m daydreaming about warmer days. For the day-to-day grind & weekend chores, I stick to one giant handbag. I’m very loyal to it until it falls apart; however, when heading out for a special occasion, I’m happy to downsize with something metallic, playful, & festive!
I gifted myself the pink bag with a gift card, but I’m also keeping my eye out for a holiday deal on accessories, so that I can add the chic, neutral metallic bronze to my collection too!
This weekend, actress & singer Jennifer Lopez was spotted in New York City, taking in the Broadway smash hit The Music Man, hand-in-hand with new husband, Ben Affleck; however, the buzz wasn’t so much about another Bennifer sighting as it was on Jennifer’s unexpected winter / holiday outfit that is inspiring bloggers everywhere to reinvent their cozy fair isle sweaters with a splash of femininity & glam.
