One of the chicest ways to stay both cool & stylish as the temperatures rise is by wearing linen. I’ve always been weary about linen, due to caring for the wrinkles & washing to ensure that it doesn’t shrink, but in recent years, I’ve been a fan of linen shorts with tanks & tees of all varieties. However, I’m in love with these linen pants, which can be dressed up or down & still keep you cool.

If there’s any kind of pant that I love, it’s a pull-on pair, especially after experiencing the changes in my body after having my daughter. Since last fall, I’ve been searching for pull-on styles in all different materials & patterns to alternate throughout the changing seasons. However, winter styles are currently hitting the clearance racks & spring is bursting through retailers’ doors!

Loving these velvet pants from LOFT that seem to be in the same cut & a similar color scheme, I’m all about the faux leather option, but unfortunately, the black—which is what I’d experiment with—is no longer available in my size. I say “experiment” because I’m usually warm at work, giving a lecture or running from classroom to office, so I’d be reluctant to order the other colors if I couldn’t quite commit—but they sure are cute!
