One of the chicest ways to stay both cool & stylish as the temperatures rise is by wearing linen. I’ve always been weary about linen, due to caring for the wrinkles & washing to ensure that it doesn’t shrink, but in recent years, I’ve been a fan of linen shorts with tanks & tees of all varieties. However, I’m in love with these linen pants, which can be dressed up or down & still keep you cool.

I’ve fallen into the habit of changing out my massive weekday tote to a smaller crossbody for weekends, especially when needing to be mobile with my little one. The must-have markdown of the season is here! I love a pullover that can go from dressy to casual with the switch out of jeans & sneakers to faux leather leggings & a statement necklace. This is especially the case for a top with statement sleeves that’s worth it to have in every color!

Originally, I ordered the white because the item is referred to as a sweatshirt; however, this is a thin, stretchy pullover material & it was very sheer. Not wanting to layer, I’m returning it, but very much looking forward to the navy & magenta options. The price is just too good to be true & I wish my size was available in more colors. I guess that’s just how it goes with end of the season clearance items!

Now that spring has sprung & 2 local trips are planned between now & early June, it’s time I start looking ahead to summer—in style! While linen does wrinkle & require care when washing, it is a breathable, comfortable, & classic material for a dress. Let’s all give it up for the one & only Sofia Vergara who got denim joggers right! The actress-turned-fashionista has nailed it when it comes to a combination of comfortable, stylish, & affordable pull- on jeans with a joggers twist. I can’t wait to wear them all the time, especially since I haven’t worn jeans since before my pregnancy in 2018 started to show!

On a recent quick trip to Walmart, I took a stroll down the clearance-lined shoe aisle, & came across these dramatic knotted flats, perfect when needing a classic black option with a little extra flair—for only $7!

I love a sleek stiletto pump! I love a pump with unique detail that offers more interest & luxury to any outfit. I love a pump in an unexpected color. I love a point toe. However, I haven’t been wearing pumps much since early in the pandemic, even though I have purchased my fair over the last year. Speaking of pumps…

I’m crazy about this electric blue, though I wish it was also made in the same croc embossed texture as the black & white options.
