Show Me The Shoes: Is It Too Soon To Talk Fall Booties?

I swear, I’m not trying to wish the summer away, but I’m already receiving stacks of August 2013 issues of my favorite fashion magazines, which have pages plastered with fall preview looks & accessories, & I knew it was time to repost in Show Me The Shoes. While clicking around for some style inspiration, I found the Kierce booties ($190.00) in green, black, & dark orange from Nine West.

Nine West - Kierce bootie $190.00

I’m kind of crazy about these shoes & definitely wouldn’t spend the bucks to add them to my own personal shoe collection, but I’m definitely excited to see suede textures, modern styles, & towering platforms for fall. I just had to share them, especially the dark green hue, which I already know would look great with any LBD, 70s-inspired, jumpsuit, or skinny jeans & tunic top.

Watch This Style: Helena Bonham Carter Stars As Elizabeth Taylor In ‘Burton & Taylor!’

Burton & Taylor

The memory of Elizabeth Taylor can finally thrive on the big screen with the latest BBC movie, Burton & Taylor, which documents the twice-divorced couple the theater for their 1983 production of Private Lives. In this short first look at the made-for-television movie, I’m super impressed by Helena Bonham Carter‘s spot-on representation of the violet-eyed movie legend. Also, Dominic West as Burton seems a good match against HBC who captures Taylor’s every seductive & playful stare. The film will premiere on July 22nd so check your local listings & set up your DVRs!

Are you looking forward to seeing this movie? Do you think Helena Bonham Carter was a good choice for the lead role? LC Lauren Conrad's July Lookbook for Kohl's

These shots not only make me wanna go shopping, but also re-style some of my favorite pieces like a printed maxi dress with flip-flops or a lacy cocktail dress with wedges. Also, I love her flirty ponytail without a frizz in sight. Great job, LC!

Runway Rundown: Giorgio Armani’s Fall 2013 Haute Couture Collection!

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Perhaps the most sophisticated line to come out of Paris Fashion Week for the Fall 2013 Haute Couture Collections is from Giorgio Armani. Clad with sleek suits & strong shoulders straight out of Samantha Jones’ Sex & the City wardrobe, but in softer creamy hues, there are also plenty of hints of The Great Gatsby‘s influence on fashion. Details like feathered necklines, crystal accents, ornate lace overlays, & lingerie-inspired silhouettes make this easily a red carpet favorite for the upcoming awards season. The feminine frocks are nothing short of elegant & edgy on the right girl.

Which looks do you like best from the line? Which designers are your favorite from Fashion Week? For more posts from Runway Rundown, check out Elie Saab, Valentino, Giambattista Valli, & Chanel! Happy Styling!

Every single look featured in Paris is red carpet worthy, especially b/c of the stunning hues like scarlet, emerald, gold, silver, cobalt, & navy. These are sure to attract the likes of Eva Longoria, Jessica Alba, Amy Adams, Zoe Saldana, Taylor Swift, Jessica Biel, Kate Beckinsale, & Emma Stone. The glitz & glamour is enhanced by flattering silhouettes including long-sleeves, sweetheart necklines, A-line skirts, & column gowns!

Watch This Style: Adriana Lima, Georgia May Jagger, & More Models Dance For Miu Miu!

Miu Miu Fall 2013 Campaign

When it comes to ad campaigns, I’m always excited to see celebrities in action wielding a fashion or beauty brand. However, in the spirit of style, the Italian brand, Miu Miu, has gathered a group of models, including Adriana Lima & Georgia May Jagger, to represent their latest Fall 2013 collection. The  mixture of prints with pops of color create a fun, flirty, & fall-ready combination of looks for the upcoming season. The usual fashion photo shoot contains a slew of models posing for the camera, but this newest campaign shows that models can also dance aside from walk a runway. Also featured in the ad are Katlin Aas, Daphne Groeneveld, Anne Verhallen, & Lindsey Wixson.

What do you think of the looks from Miu Miu’s newest collection? Which trends are you following? Runway Rundown: Valentino’s Fall 2013 Haute Couture Collection!

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

There’s lots to talk about when it comes to Fall 2013 Haute Couture Collections in Paris this week, especially Valentino‘s latest line. I love the mixture of tailored menswear, sweeping gowns, lace panels, intricate cut-outs, layered transparent looks, & brocade embellishments. I never thought I’d type those descriptions for one collection, but I was blown away by the understated elegance in this very forward-thinking line. The gowns towards the finale were especially spectacular for this fall’s awards season.

Ad Madness: Diane Kruger Is The New Face Of Chanel Skincare!

When I hear about Chanel, I think immediately about the legendary designer, as portrayed in films in like Coco Before Chanel, & how A-listers today interpret the brand for modern-day red carpet appearances & showing off their street style. Also, I’ve been following a lot from the fashion house, including their latest Fall 2013 Haute Couture collection, & now, the latest news that actress Diane Kruger is the new face of Chanel’s skincare line, as well as the brand’s ambassador.

Diane Kruger for Chanel

The elegant ad showcases the German import’s natural beauty for La Commence La Beauté, which features day & night creams. Chanel recently released a statement about choosing Diane to represent the brand: “Attracted by her sophistication and artistic spirit, the House of Chanel chose her for its Allure fragrance advertising campaign, then again for the Paris-Biarritz handbag advertising campaign, shot by Karl Lagerfeld… Now an ambassadress for Chanel, Diane Kruger will be the face of a new skincare advertising campaign, due to be unveiled in 2013.”

We’re in the middle of summer, but this is the perfect time to look ahead at what’s to come for fall, especially considering the latest slew of Fall 2013 Haute Couture Collections. After the 67-image gallery of Chanel‘s newest looks, I was so happy to find Giambattista Valli‘s line that includes lovely white looks with plenty of pops of blue & red, fun florals fit for young Hollywood starlets, exaggerated embellishments like flowers & fur, as well as see-through panels that are sure to hit the upcoming red carpets.

7/4/2013 Darling Of The Day: Sandra Bullock’s Monochromatic Look by Alberta Ferretti!

Sandra Bullock has been making the red carpet & talk show rounds promoting her latest film, The Heat, which co-stars Bridesmaids actress Melissa McCarthy. However, this week in Sydney, the Oscar-winner donned a chic monochromatic cobalt look from designer Alberta Ferretti, as well as uber-strappy shoes by Gwen Stefani‘s label, L.A.M.B.. I wanted to post this especially for the 4th of July holiday since the prominent color in the outfit is a very patriotic blue. However, I immediately found look-alike separates to recreate this look, fulfilling yet another post for The $100 Challenge! Also, from now on I’m changing up my format a bit so that it’s easier for readers to access these fashionable wardrobe suggestions!

I’ve been biding my time with posts from the latest Resort 2014 Collections, while waiting to see the latest from the Fall 2013 Haute Couture Collections. I’m happy to start this gallery series off with Chanel. The line includes a smoldering combination of the label’s classic tweeds, statement belts, muted color palette, & gorgeous chunky outerwear essentials. There are plenty of fabulous looks here that will certainly hit upcoming red carpets on Chanel regulars like Diane Kruger, Blake Lively, Kristen Stewart, Rachel Bilson, & Elizabeth Olsen.

Luxury Look-Alike For Less: Studded Sandals From Neiman Marcus Vs. Forever 21!

When I’m lacking inspiration for a blog, you can either find me perusing the internet for absurdly adorable pictures of puppies, or checking out some seriously sexy shoes that I don’t think I’ll ever be able to afford. However, I was so inspired by Nicole Kidman’s new ad campaign for Jimmy Choo & began thinking about simple ways to update my spring-summer-fall shoe collection without breaking the bank. Also, I love the idea of studded sandals, especially since I’ve been seeing the trend all over the pages of my favorite fashion magazines this summer.  This includes the Saint Laurent strappy studded leather sandal ($867.00) in black, Prada studded metallic ankle-strap sandal ($636.00) in silver, Valentino allover rockstud sandal ($995.00) in poudre, & Schutz Akshya spiked sandal ($240.00) in black / gold, all from Neiman Marcus.

Neiman Marcus

Each style offers plenty of toe cleavage, as well as height to show off your legs in shorts romper, mini skirt, or sheath dress, especially when paired with softer details like lace, a floral print, or ruched bodice.

If you’re looking to achieve the same gladiator style with metallic studding, then I recommend heading over to Forever 21 for their leather-lined spike gladiator heels ($32.50) in both black & natural to fulfill all of your gritty & modern fashion needs. These are perfect for mixing up your office look for happy hour with the girls, heading out for a date in and LBD, or making a statement with the ever so trendy jumpsuit.

Young American designer Jenni Kayne always steps it up when her designs hit the runway & her latest Resort 2014 Collection is no exception. With strategic transparent paneling, that famous bralette top, chunky chain necklaces, & sleek leather pieces, this line is sure to attract daring celebs like Solange Knowles, Rihanna, & Rita Ora, as well as invite for some risk-taking on the red carpet. There’s a modern blend of minimalism & menswear at work here, covering a spectrum of styles including cocktail, sportswear, tribal, & classic. The brief, yet elegant line includes 15 memorable looks that I hope to see in action in the pages of my favorite fashion magazines.

Watch This Style: Nicole Kidman’s Debut Ads & Short Film For Jimmy Choo!

Nicole Kidman for Jimmy Choo 01

All this time here I was thinking that the best legs in Hollywood belonged to actress / mogul Jennifer Lopez or supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, but the sultry side of Nicole Kidman is out in full force for her latest venture as the face.. err… legs… err feet of Jimmy Choo‘s Autumn / Winter 2013 collection. This is by far the best we’ve ever seen the Australian beauty & not only are there images to show her strut her stuff, but there’s also a short film video that’s gorgeous enough to make any Style Darling break the bank and buy a pair of the luxury footwear! I love the nearly $1,000 shoes, as well as Nicole’s shaggy red wig, which makes her look every bit the bombshell that we love her to be.

Nicole Kidman for Jimmy Choo 02 Nicole Kidman for Jimmy Choo 03

I really enjoyed being able to play a role that was strong, sexy and in control,” she shares, according to People, adding “I got into a relationship with the photographer [Mikael Jansson], & Mikael is very intuitive, he knows what I am thinking & feeling & is able to translate it through the camera.” Inspiration for the shoot came from the photography of Helmut Newton, as well as the strong heroine icons of Alfred Hitchcock films- no doubt including Grace Kelly, who Nicole portrays in her upcoming film, Grace of Monaco.

The brand’s creative director Sandra Choi reveals more behind the campaign & collection. “There is a feeling of a quiet eroticism in the collection, & this concept was brought to life by Nicole’s magnetic presence in front of the camera… Her character portrays the multi-faceted qualities of the Jimmy Choo woman for this season – strong, sexy with a beguiling sense of mystery.

What do you think of the ad campaign? Do you own a pair of Jimmy Choo shoes? What other celebrities would you like to see represent your favorite brands? Runway Rundown: Lela Rose’s Resort 2014 Collection!

While adding to my galleries of Resort 2014 Collections, I’m happy to share the latest images from Lela Rose, which remind me the delicate femininity of the 1960s, á la Mad Men. I love every piece of this line, especially the dresses with cinched in wastes & tea-length hemlines. I can see so many of these looks on all the most wanted celebrities of today, including Jessica Chastain, Lea Michele, Zooey Deschanel, Katy Perry, & Emma Watson. In the absence of Marchesa this season, I’ll take any look by Lela Rose to fill the glamour gap.

Basics For A Bargain: Leather Has Never Looked Better, Inspired By Mandy Moore, Sandra Bullock, Heidi Klum, & More!

Leather really had never looked better! Each summer I’m surprised to see many looks worn by celebrities with leather, as well as dresses that have recently hit the runway. Of course, most of these runway looks are for the upcoming fall / resort seasons, but playing the game of fashion always means that you’re looking ahead with your wardrobe. For example, here we have leather dresses that offer texture, femininity, elegance, & modernism from Barbara Bui Pre-Fall 2013, Alice + Olivia Fall 2013 Ready-To-Wear, Tibi Pre-Fall 2013, & 10 Crosby by Derek Lam Pre-Fall 2013.

Alice + Olivia, Tibi, Barbara Bui, 10 Crosby by Derek Lam.This also makes me think of recent red carpet appearances by some of my favorite celebrities who’ve worn leather dresses, including Naomi Watts in a leather dress by Alexander McQueen with jewelry by Jennifer Meyer at the Los Angeles premiere of Ray Donovan. Also, my girl crush, Mandy Moore, attended a Helmut Newton event in a leather LBD with gold jewelry & sexy ankle-strap heels. Byzantium actress Gemma Arterton showed off her shape in a curve-hugging letaher dress with 3/4 sleeves, black pointy toe pumps, & a metallic clutch at the film’s screening in London. Scandal star Kerry Washington walks the red carpet at an ABC event in a red Marc by Marc Jacobs leather sheath dress with black & gold accessories, including House of Lavande studs.

Naomi Watts, Mandy Moore, Gemma Arterton, & Kerry Washington.Shopping for leather, or faux leather in this case, dresses is tricky sometimes b/c you always want to make sure that it fits you properly & doesn’t require an abundance of care or cleaning. I found these chic options that are both timeless & edgy to mix & match with accessories like pointy toe pumps, platform sandals, a metallic clutch, or drop earrings. First, I selected the BB Dakota Kira perforated dress ($68.00) from ShopBop, which definitely plays up the lasercut trend with playful peek-a-boo holes. Also, I found the Sanctuary Clothing faux leather shift dress ($55.65) from Dillard’s. It’s especailly flattering with strategic colorblocked panels.

leather dressesMy third pick is from Forever 21, the studded faux leather dress ($27.80) is the most affordable, & also offers plenty of styling possibilities with a boyfriend blazer, cropped bolero, metallic belt, or suede knee boots. For a change of color, the Anne Klein faux leather dress ($42.99) from 6PM brings a gritty edge to any office look, especially if paired with strappy sandals or printed pumps.

When it comes to leather, we’ve also seen a great deal of separates, especially in the form of skirts & leggings, which always cause a stir on the runway. The mixture of the tough material in sophisticated silhouettes makes for a memorable show, especially with skirts of varying lengths for a date night, the office, or an instant update to other basics. I found trendy leather separates in collections from SUNO Resort 2014, L.A.M.B. by Gwen Stefani Fall 2013 Ready-To-Wear, Altuzarra Fall 2013 Ready-To-Wear, & Michael Kors Pre-Fall 2013.

Suno, L.A.M.B. by Gwen Stefani, Altuzarra, & Michael Kors.Celebrities continue to once again mirror the runways when on the street or red carpet with leather pieces to accent this look. Sandra Bullock heated up the premiere of The Heat in an affordable leather pencil skirt from ASOS with a button-down blouse & strappy leather sandals. Rashida Jones was all smiles in a striped top with a cobalt blue leather mini skirt, which she accessorized with a statement pendant, colorful clutch, & towering platform sandals. Project Runway judge / supermodel Heidi Klum looks every bit the style icon in a head-to-toe midnight blue look, including a zippered pencil skirt, blouse, pumps, & snakeskin bag. Lastly, the always effortless Zoe Saldana attends a Chime for Change event in a Gucci floral blouse with leather leggings, jewlery by Repossi, & strappy sandals.

Sandra Bullock, Rashida Jones, Heidi Klum, & Zoe Saldana. As for wearing leather bottoms, you have a chic choice of skirts or leggings. Of course, there are shorts out there, as well as cropped trousers, but here I’m focusing on recreating skirts & leggings as seen by the celebrities above. This starts with the Rhyme Los Angeles perforated vegan leather skirt ($46.99) from Piperlime, which not only serves the environment, but also offers an upgrade to your professional office look. Also, for a pop of color, I love the Glamorous PU patent faux leather mini skirt ($42.43) in wine from ASOS, which adds a futuristic vibe to any button-down shirt, studded tank, or scoop neck pullover.

leather separatesFor a flirtier look, BonTon‘s Blu Pepper lasercut faux leather skirt ($47.20) will instantly make a silk blouse & fishnets look like you’ve just stepped off the runways of Paris. Lastly, these faux leather zip leggings ($13.80) from Forever 21 are perfect for pairing with a printed tunic top, knit oversized sweater, & sequin mini dress.

Would you wear leather this summer? Which is your favorite leather look? Do you experiment with leather in different colors? This isn’t the first time I’ve featured leather looks on Style Darling, so if you’d like to read more to catch all the trends, check out previous posts including inspiration from Jessica Chastain & Lucy Hale, red carpet looks from Julianne Hough & Zoe Kravitz, & leather pant looks on Gwyneth Paltrow & Fergie! Runway Rundown: Hervé Léger by Max Azria’s Resort 2014 Collection!

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

We’ve seen so many trends in the new Resort 2014 Collections, including floral details, lace & feminine accents, glitz & glam, menswear inspiration, & classic American minimalism. However, the latest from Hervé Léger by Max Azria shows a futuristic approach to its signature figure-flattering lines for both swimwear & sexy dresses. There’s a toughness in the line that makes me think of a blend of bondage with utilitarian post-modernism, which I especially love in pastels like chartreuse, stone, & blush. Also, there are plenty of current graphic designs that combine elegance with risk-taking fashion, perfect for celebrities like tennis beauty Maria Sharapova, Glee actress Naya Rivera, Newsroom star Olivia Munn, supermodel Gisele Bundchen, TV personality Kelly Ripa, & Bond girl Olga Kurylenko.

Which looks do you like the best? Are you following any of the latest from the resort collections? For more posts from Runway Rundown, check out Bottega Veneta, Burberry Prorsum, Stella McCartney, Christian Dior, & Gucci! Happy Styling!

Ad Madness: Jessica Chastain’s Latest Yves Saint Laurent Fragrance Ads!

Beauty & fashion are synonymous with the leading ladies of the big screen, as well as how we determine our desires. Maybe that doesn’t make sense, but while looking over my previous posts for Ad Madness, I’ve found that Oscar nominees & winners have a history of lending their image to both beauty products & fashion collections. This list already includes Jennifer Lawrence‘s debut ads for Dior, as well as Marion Cotillard‘s collaboration with Lady Dior & Natalie Portman for Diorshow Iconic Overcurl mascara. Also, there’s Christoph Waltz for Prada menswear, Rooney Mara for Calvin Klein’s Downtown, a behind-the-scenes look at Kate Winslet for Lancôme, Kate Hudson for both Almay & Ann Taylor, Rachel Weisz for Bvlgari’s Serpentine collection, & Brad Pitt‘s highly publicized monologue for Chanel No. 5.

Last fall, Hollywood’s it-girl Jessica Chastain made her debut as the face of Yves Saint Laurent‘s fragrance Manifesto. it looks like the ad campaign is evolving with a more dramatic edge, showing the raw beauty of the two-time Academy Award nominee in all-black looks with a smoky eye & Veronica Lake-inspired curls. These latest photos were taken by Max Vadukul & under the direction of YSL’s creative director Hedi Slimane. For those of you who haven’t taken a whiff of the $82.00 fragrance, it effervesces with luscious notes of bergamot, green accord, sambac jasmine, wood & vanilla.

These are quite the departure from the previous ad campaign, featuring the Zero Dark Thirty star rolling around in purple paint, as well as bidding on her art work in a gold auction room, as seen in the video below.

Cover Craze: Kate Mara’s Playful Dramatic Photo Shoot For ELLE!

When flipping through the pages of next month’s ELLE magazine, I was pleased to see Shakira returning to the spotlight as the magazine’s cover girl. However, in the pages of the fashion mag, I was most intrigued by he 12-page photo shoot & accompanying article on House of Cards actress Kate Mara, whose stylish red carpet appearances & career on both the big & small screen has always seemed to catch my eye.

Kate Mara for Elle July 2013 01

Of course, I’ve learned that the actress, who formerly co-starred in the first season of American Horror Story as Dylan McDermott’s psycho dead mistress, comes from NFL royalty, & was the first of the Mara sisters to hit up Hollywood with acting dreams. However, Kate proudly talks about little sister Rooney who snagged her first Oscar nomination for her gritty portrayal in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Also, Kate discusses her role as Zoe Barnes & working with acclaimed director David Fincher on the Netflix series, House of Cards, alongside Kevin Spacey & Robin Wright.

Kate Mara for Elle July 2013 02

The shoot features plenty of enviable high fashion looks from designers like Valentino, Chanel, Rag & Bone, Dior, Ralph Lauren Collection, Donna Karan New York, Prada, Michael Kors, Giorgio Armani, J Brand, Calvin Klein Collection, Versace, & Louis Vuitton. What makes this an especially interesting fashion shoot is the combination of luxe labels with novelties like stuffed animals, adorable puppies, & showcasing the difference stellar accessories make for an ensemble.

6/29/2013 Darling Of The Day: Olivia Palermo Stylishly Steps Out In New York City!

As far as street style is concerned, Olivia Palermo is stepping up her game & quickly joining the ranks of veterans like Nicole Richie, Sarah Jessica Parker, Miranda Kerr, & Rihanna when it comes to personal style. Of course, the American socialite always sits front row during Fashion Week, & also has all the best designers begging the former reality to don their duds, so she knows a thing or two about fashion. Here, in New York City, Olivia recently showed off her gams in shorts & a crisp, white shirt. She’s accessorized her look simply with metallic, neutral, & embossed pieces that can be mixed & matched with plenty of other wardrobe staples. I especially love her Olivia + Joy purse since animal-inspired textures always make an outfit look more luxurious.

To recreate Olivia’s street style, I’ve found pieces that not only follow the latest trends in summer fashion, but also come in under $100 for the total look! First, the belted safari shirt ($17.18) in optic white from New York & Company has more than just the tailored feel of a men’s shirt since it belts to the side, but can also be tucked in to show off your shape. Also, the cuffed twill shorts ($22.00) in surplus khaki from Old Navy are both functional when the temperature heats up & can make any frilly blouse or studded tank look street-savvy. A basic neutral shoe pulls the look together, like Dress Barn‘s chic crisscross wedge sandals ($40.00), which can work for any outfit, a maxi dress, or shorts romper.

Darling of the Day- Olivia Palermo

Additional accessories that make this look affordable & successful are the studded mirror cuff ($4.80) from Forever 21, H&M‘s clutch ($12.95), & the one-inch skinny belt ($2.99) from Private Island Party. Any of these can be coordinated with a variety of basics like a shirtdress with ballet flats, an LBD with chandelier earrings, & a printed jumpsuit with a floppy hat.

The Stylish Five: Major Deals On Maxi Dresses ($25 & Under)!

While preparing for my long-awaited summer vacation, I’ve been scoping out dresses since they’re just so easy to wear & coordinate with all of my favorite summer shoes. However, I know that maxi dresses are a big part of summer fashion & I wasn’t always a big fan of them on me- worried about the length since I’m on the shorter side & concerned with extra volume where I certainly don’t need it.

The shopping fairies have been on my side lately since I recently picked up 2 stylish maxi dresses, which inspired me to surf for some more suggestions online.  This includes the Speechless animal maxi dress ($23.99) from Kohl’s, which brings out the wild side of any Style Darling, especially when paired with metallic gladiator sandals or patent leather platforms. Next, the tie-back knit maxi dress ($24.99) from Charlotte Russe is perfect for paying homage to a Grecian-inspired look, as well as showing off your taste in accessories with a studded belt, stacked bangles, or glittery dangling earrings. I love the simplicity behind the Mossimo Supply Co. drawstring waist maxi dress ($24.99) from Target, as well as the summer-friendly hue, which will match with any nautical-inspired pieces like a canvas tote or boat shoes.

For my plus-size readers, I was so excited to find the garden goddess floral maxi dress ($24.80) from Forever 21, which makes a colorful & stylish statement with nude sandals & a patent clutch for a date night by the water. Lastly, I’m always a fan of classic black & white prints, especially the Love, Fire chevron stripe printed side slit tube dress ($19.99) @Loehmann’s, which will stand out in the crowd when coordinated with cork wedges, a beaded necklace, or studded envelope clutch.

Which maxi dress is more your style? Where are you shopping for maxi dresses this summer? Runway Rundown: Bottega Veneta’s Resort 2014 Collection!

Structure is no stranger to the runway, especially with the latest Resort 2014 Collection from Italian designer Bottega Veneta. I love the unconventional, yet modern looks in this collection, including the always stylish combination of menswear with brogues combined with sheath dresses & flouncy skirts. The graphic patterns are refreshing after seeing so much floral all over the place, as well as the solid black pieces & crochet tops. The line is aggressive, yet sophisticated, calling on celebrities like Diane Kruger, Chloe Sevigny, Emma Watson, & Leighton Meester to experiment with on the red carpet.

Which looks are your favorite from the collection? Where are you headed this summer? Which pieces most reflect your vacation style? For more from Runway Rundown, check out previous posts including Alice + Olivia, Stella McCartney, Gucci, & Burberry Prorsum! Happy Styling!

Beauty Buys / Watch This Style: ABC’s Revenge Gets Its Own Fragrance, Double Infinity!

Revenge's Double Infinity fragrance

In the past, fashionable television shows have included Sex & the City, Gossip Girl, the long-running Mad Men series, & now we can currently add ABC’s primetime soap, Revenge, to the frothy & glossy mix, which often includes to-die-for runway looks brought to life by the show’s leading ladies: Emily VanCamp (Emily), Ashley Madekwe (Ashley), Madeleine Stowe (Victoria), & Christa B. Allen (Charlotte). However, now the show, which will premiere its third season in the fall, is debuting its own beauty line, including a fragrance called Double Infinity, paying homage to Emily’s infinity tattoo, which drives her throughout the story. InStyle shares that “The red bottle boasts a dramatic combination of jasmine, peony, & pink pepper, with citrus notes like grapefruit & orange blended into the mix,” which sounds delightful enough to try. It’s sold @Kohl’s, ranging in price from $39-$49, a perfect pre-stocking stuffer gift for the Revenge fan in your life.

Catch up with the series in the video below & share which episodes & characters are your favorites. Will you be checking out this new fragrance inspired by the show?
