Living in Style: The Plushest Cloffice Rug!

For the last 2 years, my head has been filled with fantasies of my dream cloffice, where I’d blog from each day & gather my stylish thoughts. Finally, my dreams are becoming a reality, especially as boxes & bins are unpacked & organized, making space on the floor for a plush, white round rug, befitting of a fashionable movie montage sequence!

I purchased the Amdrebio 6×6 round rug in white @Amazon ($43.88) ages ago & it’s finally set up—&still available for purchase!

While it’s seemingly advertised for a children’s play space or dorming, it adds the perfectly posh & polished touch to my stylish space, merging that bright pop of white to contrast the dark floors, my glossy turquoise walls, & the array of patterns in my wardrobe, as seen below:

Style Darling Daily headquarters / my cloffice: in-progress
My 3 1/2-year-old (who usually smiles, I swear) getting cozy, surrounded by Mommy’s wardrobe. Ignore the bins & boxes! Unpacking & organizing are still in progress!

What do you think of the rug? Do you prefer plush, fluffy rugs are living areas or something sturdier & more minimal? What do you use to organize or update your wardrobe space? SHOP NOW: Summer’s Must-Have Peplum Top from Walmart!

One-in-every-color is at it again! This time, I’m obsessed–to my surprise–with the Time and Tru peplum hem t-shirt @Walmart for $12.98. I had ordered only the berry fun (pink) & black soot colors on a whim, but I’ve just added the other colors to my cart, although dark navy is not available in my size!

I was scrambling to get ready for my last day of work before a long-awaited vacation & knew that I had my favorite past-season black ankle pants & a stack of casual, weekend tops at the ready without the forethought from the previous night to pick out my outfit. Suddenly, with Barbiecore on the brain, I grabbed the pink version of this top, a long necklace, & patterned flats; along with my ankle pants, I was all set. It’s not very often that I use Time and Tru pieces for work, especially when my comfortable, weekend wardrobe is way more toned down. I was happily surprised with the final look & excited to share it with readers since the 6 colors are made in sizes XS-XXXL, although availability may be limited due to the end of the summer season rush in stores.

The modal/polyester/spandex material of this top is lightweight & the perfect blend of summer business casual Friday; however, this top must be ironed or steamed. Luckily, I had my hand steamer nearby when I was rushing to put myself together & the top came out as polished as I expected.

This top is ideal for a variety of looks, especially if you’re seeking out flowy, loose pieces for a hot summer day & when you just don’t have the capacity for something form-fitting. Check out the below suggested pieces to coordinate with this versatile, must-have, & affordable top:

SHOP: 1. Time and Tru button fly high rise curvy jeans in leopard (limited availability in sizes 4-20, on sale: $12.00) @Walmart, 2. Time and Tru faux leather leggings in black (available in sizes XS-XXXL, $15.96) @Walmart, 3. Time and Tru modern mid rise straight jeans in dre wash (limited availability in sizes 4-24, $16.87) @Walmart, 4. Time and Tru pull-on dress pant in black (available in size 10, $15.96) @Walmart, 5. Time and Tru linen blend shorts in watercolor floral (available in sizes XS-3XL, $16.98) @Walmart, 6. Time and Tru gingham shorts in dark navy (available in sizes XS-XXXL, $12.98) @Walmart, & 7. Accessories Access: Laser Cut Handbags, Shoes, & Belts for Spring!

In getting ready for spring (because it still isn’t here on Long Island—though we experienced two very magical spring-ish days before massive blizzards hit), I’m looking ahead, specifically to the trends I can’t wait to explore. One of the easiest ways to get into the mood of a new season is with accessories. My goal is to turn to some staple & classic pieces that I’ve collected from past seasons for my own looks. However, for some inspiration, I love seeing what’s new & stylish in stores & online right now to get me even more into a spring state of mine. Since I’m always interested in ways to mix patterns & textures to create a detailed & sophisticated look, I love the idea of laser cut accessories, which are typically faux leather, modern & feminine, & created in soft & neutral tones, to offset bold hues, floral prints, & abstract color combinations, especially when it comes to handbags, shoes, & belts. To achieve an affordable & fashionable take on spring, I’ve scoured the web & some of my favorite go-to stores to find the chicest ways to elevate your outfit, as well as help Style Darlings to transition from these last remaining chilly winter days & into a brighter & lighter spring style.

SHOP: black & white tote @dressbarn, nude scalloped crossbody @ASOS, beige handbag @Target, & white Western crossbody @Express.

SHOP: blue pointy toe flats @GOjane, white d’Orsay flats @Old Navy, black Darlene flats @Target, & blush dress sandals @Charlotte Russe

SHOP: pink stretch belt @Charming Charlie, bone skinny belt @Old Navy, & black faux leather belt @Banana Republic

What spring trends are you most excited to wear? Where do you shop to refresh your wardrobe from season-to-season? What neutral accessories do you like best? Happy Styling!
