When trying to wrap my flu-induced mind around what I’ll wear for Christmas Eve, aside from a mask, I want to be comfortable & stylish. Last year & this year, the jewel-button cardigan trend has been popular, & I’ve participated my share in investing in it.

At first, I wasn’t crazy about this sweater since the buttons weren’t functional, especially as an avid cardigan wearer, but I appreciate the posh simplicity of the look, highlighting the decadent jewel buttons as bling.

Show Me the Shoes: Gorgeous Jacquard Flats for $35!

Instagram’s algorithm is working since it has identified that I love a deal & a pretty ballet flat. After over 8,000 posts, how could it not?! See examples below:

And as summer is turning into fall, I’m already scoping out bargains & must-haves to prepare for a sparkly holiday season!

When shopping for holiday must-haves, it’s easy to be attracted to the intricate details of jacquard, colors of tweed, lines of corduroy, & patterns of knits. However, when mixing & matching your favorite separates to prepare for a stylish season, there’s one texture that remains a constant (& it’s really affordable too). That’s velvet!

The Best Floral Shoes for the Holidays!

The holidays are just around the corner & as much as I love indulging in seasonal duds (red knits, green velvet pieces, fair isle sweaters, etc.), I’m always excited to get my hands on (or feet in, in this case) a new find that can be interpreted for the holidays & beyond. I’m talking about the Habit pump & Gigi flat @Payless by Project Runway winner Christian Siriano (a favorite designer of mine!) whose shimmer black floral footwear opens up the styling possibilities for fall, winter, & spring!
