The Barbiecore trend is strong & Margot Robbie gets more & more stunning with every turn. At last night’s London premiere of the highly-anticipated Greta Gerwig-directed film, the stars & supporters of Barbiecontinued the glamathon on the pink carpet, including a breathtaking Margot in a soft pink satin Vivienne Westwood look. Additionally, Dua Lipaserved up some pop star Barbie vibes in her Versace dress, Greta’s glittering pink Erdem gown was a dream, & America Ferrera‘s Roland Mouret design was serving old Hollywood drama. Take a look at the slideshow & complete gallery below, including another chef’s kiss Gucci look on Ryan Gosling!

The hype for the new Barbie movie continues to grow, as does my obsession with watching & reading every detail the upcoming film depiction of the Mattel doll that changed the world. Starring Margot Robbie & Ryan Gosling, the Greta Gerwig-directed film finds Barbie entering the real world, but not without a majorly glitzy dance sequence.
Barbiecore isn’t just taking over fashion & Hollywood, but Dua Lipa‘s new single “Dance the Night” for the film explodes with pink, fun, & celebration, including some clips of the stars dancing. The pop hit follows suit with her signature uptempo club-heavy sound, much like her Grammy-winning album Future Nostalgia. The singer holds her own in the Barbie universe, as seen in the video, along with some humor added with an appearance of the director.
I have this song on repeat whenever I can. Not only is it the perfect tune for the July 21st release, but it’s also a summer hit in-the-making.
Actress & writer Mindy Kaling has been winning fashion this year, not only on the red carpet, but also on her Instagram (@mindykaling). Her recent post, featuring a gorgeous & vibrant head-to-toe hot pink look screams out “HOLIDAY PARTY,” even though it diverts from the traditional red, green, or metallic monochromatic styles. Not to mention, the matching lipstick!
As Mindy’s style continues to inspires us, especially as Barbiecore is still going strong, replicating or reinterpreting this look for the budget shopper is important, as the Sex Lives of College Girls producer dons a cozy crew neck sweater (shop similar here) & luxurious Frame pants (shop here).
If you’re looking for a bold, all-over fuchsia outfit, check out the below variety of pieces that range in price & size, depending on your sweater & pant style preference.
When I learned that Golden Globe-nominated actress Ana de Armas had arrived in Venice, I was so excited to refresh my feeds to see what the Cuban star would wear to the highly-anticipated premiere of her controversial film, Blonde, where she stars as Marilyn Monroe. Naturally, her red carpet look would be elegant & stunning, but also, I wondered if & how the gown would represent the bombshell icon at the center of the film.
In a bright pink pleated gown with a deep-v by Louis Vuitton, Ana graced the red carpet in true Hollywood fashion. Her gentle waves & sophisticated jewelry by Messika hearken to an era of glamour & ease that offers a refreshing twist on Barbiecore.
Additionally, the hue pays homage to Marilyn’s signature pink from her “Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend” musical sequence in the 1949 film Gentleman Prefer Blondes; likewise, the halter & pleated look of Ana’s dress are reminiscent of the iconic subway grate scene in The Seven Year Itch from 1955.
Escorted to the premiere by one of the film’s producers, Brad Pitt, Ana shines, which is no surprise. I hope this marks the beginning of an exciting & stylish press tour for the 2 hour 46-minute film that’s rated NC-17 & is based on the disorienting evocative fictional biography by Joyce Carol Oates that begins streaming on Netflix on September 28th, especially leading up to awards season!
As the temperatures rise, the need to stay cool & comfortable is much greater, but when you have places to go, finding a balance between the weather & your style isn’t always easy. However, Academy Award-winning actress Anne Hathaway effortlessly proves otherwise while out & about in New York City this past weekend. Opting for a minimalist cream, loose-fitting shirt & coordinating shorts, the WeCrashed star paired her look with a BarbiecoreValentino crossbody bag (shop here), Bulgari sunglasses (shop similar here), & Dolce & Gabbana sandals to shop & hail a cab.
To make this look your own with alternate pieces on a budget, especially if you want to play up the different muted tones of white, cream, or beige, depending on your style, the options are out there! Additionally, this outfit is so realistic & chic for all body types, which is why I’ve included the options below to wear when running errands, between appointments, or grabbing some coffee with friends:
