During a recent jaunt to Kohl’s (with some Kohl’s cash to burn), I was pleasantly greeted with a smocked tank that can seamlessly be styled from day to night in a variety of ways. I bought the green & have already worn it with linen pants & ankle pants for work & weekend, loving the flowy silhouette.

While I can’t recommend this top enough, it is made from a rather sheer fabric, which is why I stayed away from buying the white. The square neckline is perfect for some shorter layered necklace or a long chain. Not to mention that this would look great tucked into shorts or paired with a mini, midi, or maxi skirt. During a recent pursuit of burgundy tops (for school spirit days next semester), I came across an Amazon retailer that offers a stylish top in 27 varieties. Also, I’m excited to style these up with drop earrings or a statement necklace, as well as cluster studs & charm bracelets.

I’m a sucker for dresses, cardigans, & big jewelry. There’s no question about it. There are some staple pieces that I love to have en masse, including cardigans, ankle pants, & blouses. However, one wardrobe must-have that I haven’t embraced so much is the classic t-shirt!

I’m Obsessed with this Green Top!

Over the last few weeks, I’ve been readjusting to the work week grind as a new mother, which has been both easy & hard, but that experience is for another post for another day. However, I’ve had to reconsider certain cuts of tops, dresses, & bottoms for my changed post-baby shape. I’m more aware of loose-fitting, forgiving silhouettes as I go about my day in the office & classroom. It embodies everything I look for in a top & even has a bow on it! Not to mention that the color is everything right now. It’s a bright shade that will pop on any skin tone & embraces the season with the addition of a statement necklace or chandelier earrings. It’s perfect for pairing with leggings &  knee boots, a pencil skirt & pointy toe heels, or skinny jeans & caged booties.
