Show Me the Shoes: Floral Flats for $10!

I love the versatility of a patterned accessory, especially one in colors I regularly wear so that I can take full advantage of pattern mixing with a plaid, floral, polka dot, or abstract print. When it’s a shoe & only $10, then it’s a must-have!

SHOP: classic pointy flat in black floral & white floral @Ardene (on sale: $10.00, available in sizes 6-10).

These are simply perfect for any springtime gathering for any look, including a midi dress with a cardigan, a t-shirt & pleated skirt, or a jumpsuit & statement necklace.

Show Me the Shoes: Chunky Chain Flats!

While everyone is out & about in platforms & varieties of ankle boots or slides, I’m still all about a pointy toe ballet flat! I’ll invest in every color under the sun to stay comfortable for a work day giving lectures. I love the point to polish off my look–no matter what I’m wearing. Not to mention that I’m very drawn to flats that feature special embellishments, including studs, bows, or jewels. However, this post is all about the chunky chain!

SHOP: chunky chain flats in black & beige @Ardene ($19.90, available in sizes 6-10).

I do have a pair of black chain flats from years ago that are still in pretty good condition, so I was excited to find the beige option to mix with my new spring favorites, including dusty rose pants & a short sleeve sweater, or classics, such as a fit & flare dress with a cardigan & statement earrings. The gold touch on the toe emphasizes the mix of hard against the soft pastels & florals I’ll be wearing this season.

Show Me the Shoes: Pretty in Pink Flats!

In its fairest shade, pink is a neutral, perfect for matching up with nearly any spring, summer, or fall outfit. I myself do love a rose gold flat with some black tights, if the look demands it, in the winter too! And why shouldn’t a blush shoe be a neutral? It works very well for the upcoming fall season as well with a slew of hues, including navy, chocolate, olive, charcoal, burgundy, cobalt, mustard, hunter green, & so many more!

With all that build up, it’s no surprise that the pretty pink flats I’m featuring are not only pretty & pink, but also, they’re versatile considering their texture & design. I’ve never been a huge fan of the pink family, but over the years, my heart has started to skip a stylish beat when I see some rose gold jewelry. That’s extended into eyeshadow & accessories like shoes & belts too. However, for fall, take a look at these dressy, luxe, & feminine designs @Charlotte Russe to inspire a pop of pink where you might not have previously.
