It’s been almost a week since the season finale of Project Runway All Stars, where Season 9 designer & fan favorite, Anthony Ryan Auld, was crowned the winner, ahead of Uli Herzner& Emilio Sosa. Even though Uli was my personal favorite, I was very happy to see Anthony Ryan receive the accolade that he deserves. Courtesy of My Lifetime, I’m sharing a gallery of the final runway, featuring Anthony Ryan’s “Fine Line” looks first, followed by Emilio’s “Urban Plantation,” & lastly with Uli’s “Winter Wonderland.” This was one of the most exciting episodes of the season & I loved watching judges model Carolyn Murphy, Marchesa co-founder & designer Georgina Chapman, & American icon Isaac Mizrahi, sit with guest judges actress Liv Tyler & Missoni heir, Margherita Missoni.
After season 10 of Project Runwayended, it only took a week to quell my creative competition show juices for when the second season of Project Runway All Starsreturned & I’ve been happy to see some old favorites (Uli Herzner & Anthony Ryan Auld) return to the workroom to reclaim victory. Last week’s episode 3, “Up Your Aerosol” aired & I found myself excited to see the designers working with graffiti artists to create their own prints & designs looks accordingly. Having worked in the boroughs of New York & seen the graffiti-ridden streets of Italy, I was interested in seeing the two art forms collide on te runway.
The winning look belonged to Emilio Sosa, & unfortunately, Suede‘s dotted disaster sent him home. For more angles & closeup details on these looks, head over to My Lifetime. Check out the images above to see the designers’ handiwork & share which look is your favorite. Which designer are you following this season? Happy Styling!
Yes, I’m a few days behind, but if any of you watched last week’s episode of Project Runway, then you saw the amazing 10th anniversary collection for Lord & Taylor than features 10 looks from 10 of the reality competition show’s favorite designers, including latest challenge winner, Christopher Palu. I’m featuring the fashion dresses from each season, which are currently being sold on the Lord & Taylor website. This is a pretty big deal for the show & its designers, especially b/c there was not a single flop walking down the runway, & the judges could not eliminate anyone.
