Runway Rundown / Watch This Style: The Phillip Lim For Target Lookbook!

Back in May, Style Darling reported on the upcoming collaboration between Target with luxury designer 3.1 Phillip Lim (see article here). The collection hits stores next month, but the entire lookbook has debuted online, featuring plenty of “morning, noon, & night” outfits that will make your office wardrobe, day looks, & evening ensembles a little bit more fabulous, especially since they range in price from $19.99 – $299.99 for apparel & $19.99 – $59.99 for accessories. Of course some of these prices are a little high for a bargain shopper, but if I learned anything from Target’s holiday collection with Neiman Marcus last year, it’s that when they go on sale, the clearance prices are insane!

I’m a big fan of the line’s color combinations for fall, mixing pastels with rich jewel tones, all while playing off of neutrals like navy & gray to create a polished pajama-chic meets preppy girl-next-door. Structured details with menswear inspiration is especially on trend for this season, with leather accents, jeweled necklines, & plenty of elegant basics to go around with any current wardrobe staples you’re looking to upgrade.

What do you think of the collection? Do you shop designer collaborations with mainstream retailers? What are your must-have pieces for fall? Happy Styling!
